  • What's your returns policy?

    For all transactions, exclusions apply (see below)*

    For orders made directly through Boden, we operate a no–quibble returns policy and if you return an item within 90-days of receipt, we’ll give you back the amount you paid for the item*.

    We offer free returns within the UK.

    365 Day Returns

    After our standard 90-day return period, until the first anniversary of your order arriving, you can return anything that does not meet your naturally high quality expectations (things like wear and tear are included, though garments that have been mauled by pets, drawn on by nephews, worn while decorating and so forth, don't qualify). So, if you're not happy, we will give you the option to replace your item (subject to availability) or receiving account credit for the amount you paid. Should anything spring a fault in the first 6 months, we will, of course, give you your money back. 

    *Please note:

    • When returning goods which you bought using a discount or offer, we will adjust the refund accordingly if you fall below the discount/offer threshold, as that discount or offer will no longer apply. 
    • Swimwear (where the hygiene strips have been removed) and earrings (where the internal packaging seal has been broken) are non-refundable for hygiene reasons, unless they are actually faulty. 
    • Cowshed products - if the product has been used or the seal has been broken then the whole set is non-refundable.
    • Face covering products - we aren’t able to accept returns for any opened packages, due to hygiene reasons.
  • What's your returns policy during a sale?

    Our 90-day return period does not apply to sales goods: Clearance or sale items must be returned within 14 days of receipt of the order for a cash refund.

    After the 14 days have passed, until the first anniversary of your order arriving, you can return anything that does not meet your naturally high quality expectations (things like wear and tear are included, though garments that have been mauled by pets, drawn on by nephews, worn while decorating and so forth, don't qualify). So, if you're not happy, we will give you an account credit for the amount you paid.

  • How do I return my order?

    Although we hope you love your order, there may be times when you need to return items to us. To do so, please complete the form that came with your order, enclose it in your parcel, and then select one of the returns methods below. If you would like to swap an item, please return it for a refund, and place a new order.

    1.    Digital online returns – a trackable service with our partners ReBOUND Intelligent Returns:

    ·        Enter your details in the ReBOUND returns hub (if you're returning a parcel from the Channel Islands, please select either Jersey or Guernsey from the 'Country' drop down list).

    ·        Select your chosen return method and drop off location (a printer may be required)

    ·        ReBOUND will send you an email with your returns instructions

    ·        Once you have posted your parcel, our returns partner ReBOUND Intelligent Returns will keep you updated

    2.    Using the returns label included in your parcel:

    ·        Select a returns carrier and attach the relevant label to your returns parcel (covering up any old address labels and barcodes)

    ·        Take your returns to your local drop off point

    ·        Keep hold of your receipt and tracking number, as this can be entered on the courier’s website to keep you up to date on the progress of your returns

    Please allow up to 14 days for your returned parcel to reach us. We’ll send you an email as soon as your refund has been processed.

    You can (if you like) let us know that you are going to send back the item by filling in and sending us the cancellation form, but it is not necessary to do so.

  • Can I take my return to Waitrose, John Lewis or Next?

    Items bought from a John Lewis concession, or Next (and other third parties) can only be returned to one of their stores.

    Items bought from a Boden shop, or online, can be taken to a Waitrose store and we will email you as soon as we receive your parcel in our warehouse. If you are returning via Waitrose, please ask for a receipt.

    There are a small number of Waitrose stores that cannot accept Boden returns, which are listed below:

    • Waitrose Wallbrook
    • Waitrose Kings Cross Station (Euston Rd, Kings Cross, London N1C 4AP)
    • Waitrose Kingston
    • Waitrose Horsham
    • Waitrose Ipswich (Crane Blvd, Ipswich IP3 9SQ)
    • Waitrose Bayswater (temporary)
    • Channel Island Waitrose stores

  • Can I exchange my order?

    If you would like to swap an item, please return it for a refund, and place a new order using your original offer code.

    If you don’t have your offer code, please enter a note into the ‘Other notes (non-delivery)’ box, located in the ‘Delivery’ section of our Checkout page. Simply state that this is a replacement order, as well as your original order number, and our team will apply the offer for you. They will also remove the cost of standard delivery, before you are charged.

  • How do I request a free UK returns label?

    You can now create a free online returns label with our partners ReBOUND Intelligent Returns for a trackable service:

    ·     Enter your details in the ReBOUND returns hub (if you're returning a parcel from the Channel Islands, please select either Jersey or Guernsey from the 'Country' drop down list).

    ·     Select your chosen return method and drop off location 

    ·     ReBOUND will pop you an email with your returns instructions

    ·     Once you have posted your parcel, our returns partner ReBOUND Intelligent Returns will keep you updated.

    Alternatively, contact us with your order number to let us know if you would like a free returns label posted to you (this takes a little longer).

  • Lost your returns form, or need another (for an additional return)?

    Don’t despair! You can print a copy of your order from your online account. Alternatively, a note with the following information will do:

    1. Your name, address, and phone number.

    2. Your order number.

    3. Item code(s) and reason for the return(s).

  • I bought an item from John Lewis, Next or another third party, can I return it to you?

    Items bought from a Boden concession within John Lewis stores, on johnlewis.com and Next Label (and other third parties), can only be returned to one of their stores, or via their online returns channel. The paperwork inside your parcel includes instructions, but if you need further details, you can also check their website.

  • How long will my refund take to process?

    It can take up to 14 days for a returned parcel to reach us, from the date it was sent back. Don’t worry though, as we will pop you an email when your return is completed. Any refund processed to a credit or debit card will appear on your statement within 5 working days from the date it was processed.

    If you don’t hear from us within 14 days of sending your items back, please contact us with your order number and the details about which items you sent back. Our friendly advisors will then see what they can do for you.

  • Can I send an item in for a repair?

    In the unlikely event that your item falls short, we’ve got a Care: Repair: Rewear service. Follow the simple steps here to get started.

  • Will I lose my offer/voucher if I return an item?

    Your offer will still apply, unless all of your items are returned, or you no longer qualify for the promotion (as outlined in the offer T&C’s). This is the same for any gift vouchers. However, if you used a promotional voucher and all items are returned, this will be deducted from your refund.

  • Can I return more than one order in a parcel?

    Certainly, but please ensure that the correct paperwork for each order is enclosed in your returns parcel. It would be really helpful if each order can be separated, so that it’s clear which items belong to which order. Each return will be processed separately, and we’ll let you know when this has been done. 

  • How do I track my return?

    Our partner, ReBound Intelligent Returns, offer a trackable returns service that keeps you updated via email, including your tracking number and useful links to help you check your parcel’s progress. If you haven’t received any emails from them, don’t forget to check your junk folder.

    If you return your item(s) using the label in your parcel, please request a receipt and keep note of the tracking number. You can check your parcel’s progress via their website.

    Returns can take up to 14 days to be completed but, don’t worry, as we’ll be in touch as soon as we process your item(s).

  • How do I return an item bought from a Boden shop?

    Items bought directly from Boden (either in-store or online) can be returned to our shops or by post. 

    Returning to a Boden shop

    If bought in one of our shops, please bring your receipt and we can refund you there and then! If your order was placed online, we will forward your item(s) on to our warehouse, who will then process your return. 

    Returning by post

    For instructions on how to return shop bought items to our warehouse, please refer to 'How do I return my order?' Make sure you get a receipt and code for tracking your parcel online. Please allow up to 14 days from the date of posting.

    Free returns are not currently available outside of the UK. The good news is, if you live in one of the countries listed below, we’ve made returns easier and cheaper through our partner ReBOUND Intelligent Returns.
