Our exchange service is temporarily unavailable. Don’t worry, anything you’ve returned for an exchange will be automatically refunded. See more info below.

  • Can I exchange my order?

    We’ve had to pause exchanges for now. Don’t worry, anything you’ve returned for an exchange will be automatically refunded. You can place a new order for the item you wanted using your original offer code. If you don’t have the code, enter a note into the ‘Other notes (non-delivery)’ box, located in the ‘Delivery’ section of our Checkout page saying it’s an exchange replacement, along with your original order number and our team will apply the offer for you.

    If you used PayPal to pay for your order, we’re sorry to say that we’re unable to offer an exchange. Please return your item(s) for a refund and place a new order.

    If you used any other method of payment, we’ll be happy to offer an exchange. Please just circle ‘E’ on your returns form, and note down the exchange item you would like, then follow the instructions below:

    1. Complete the returns form that came with your order and enclose it in your parcel with the item(s) you’re sending back, using the original packaging. If you no longer have the form, please refer to 'Lost your returns form?' for more information. If you bought the item from one of our shops, remember to include your receipt in lieu of the returns form.

    2. Attach the self-adhesive address label (enclosed with your order) securely to your parcel and follow the instructions included with the label. If you no longer have the label, please refer to 'Lost your returns label?' for further information. 

    3. Make sure you get a receipt and code for tracking your parcel online. We’ll pop you an email as soon as your return has been processed. Please allow up to 14 days from the date of posting.

  • How long do I have to exchange items?

    We’ve had to pause exchanges for now. Don’t worry, anything you’ve returned for an exchange will be automatically refunded.

    For purchases made directly through Boden, we operate a no quibble returns policy and if you return an item within 3 months of receipt we'll give you back the amount you paid for the item (see postage and packing cost terms) or offer an exchange (exchanges not available on PayPal orders), whichever you prefer.

  • How long will my exchange take?

    We’ve had to pause exchanges for now. Don’t worry, anything you’ve returned for an exchange will be automatically refunded.

    It can take a while for parcels to reach us, up to 14 days from when you send them back in fact, so please allow this time before you get in touch.

    As soon as this time passes, please contact us with your order number and the details about which items you sent back. Our friendly advisors will then see what they can do for you.

  • Will my offer be applied to my exchange?

    If you return your item for an exchange, your offer will be carried over to your new order (please note we cannot exchange items paid with Paypal).

    This is the same for any gift vouchers. However, if you used a promotional voucher and all items are returned, this will be deducted from your refund.

  • Will I lose my offer/voucher if I return an item?

    Your offer will still apply, unless all of your items are returned, or you no longer qualify for the promotion (as outlined in the offer T&C’s). This is the same for any gift vouchers. However, if you used a promotional voucher and all items are returned, this will be deducted from your refund.

    If you return your item (for an exchange), your offer will be carried over to your new order (please note we cannot exchange items paid with Paypal).

  • What if I want to exchange my item for something cheaper or more expensive?

    We’ve had to pause exchanges for now. Don’t worry, anything you’ve returned for an exchange will be automatically refunded.

    Any price difference will be refunded back to the original payment method, or charged according to the instructions you have given us on the returns form.

  • Do I have to pay for postage if I want to exchange an item?

    You will be pleased to know that we don’t charge for standard delivery on exchange orders.
