Charities we support

We’re proud to support some brilliant charities who are working hard to make the world a bit brighter.

The Prince’s Trust

This inspiring charity helps disadvantaged young people develop the skills they need to realise their ambitions.

This International Women’s Day, we’re donating £1 from every order made in support of it’s #ChangeAGirlsLife Campaign, an initiative created to help support young women across the UK living in extremely challenging circumstances. The donations made will go towards supporting vulnerable young women in the UK who face issues such as domestic violence, long-term unemployment, bullying, the challenges of single parenthood, homelessness or simply a lack of emotional support at home. The Prince’s Trust provides these women with support and guidance when they need it the most.

The Prince’s Trust is a registered charity in England and Wales (1079675) and Scotland (SC041198). Visit the Prince’s Trust website to find out more.

British baby banks

For the past year, we’ve been working with British baby banks in order to support families who could do with a helping hand. So far, we’ve donated almost 500 items of clothing to Baby Basics, Little Village and AberNecessities, and we’d now be delighted if you’d consider doing the same.

Not only is donating to initiatives such as this a gesture of togetherness in these uncertain times, it’s also a good thing for the planet. Taking part couldn’t be simpler. All you need to do is box up the items (your latest Boden packaging would be great) and send them on.

We’re looking for clean, stain-free clothing in sizes 0–6 years, baby and children’s bed linen and towels. Please don’t send anything with ‘mummy’ or ‘daddy’ on it, or which references a religious festival such as Christmas. Donations will be stored for 72 hours before use to ensure they’re Covid secure.

Growing in the right direction

We’ve purchased 73.5 acres of deforested land in Brazil which will support the planting of around 33,000 trees – a significant contribution towards reducing carbon in the atmosphere and biodiversity protection. This land will be managed and restored by REGUA, whose mission is the long-term conservation of the Atlantic Rainforest and its biodiversity in the Guapiaçu valley, near Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

We’re also proud to work with the National Forest and contribute to their vision for a more sustainable future. With our warehouse in Leicester located next door to a major new National Forest woodland, it felt like a natural step to give a donation which was equivalent to supporting 2000 trees in the Forest. For almost 30 years the National Forest has been demonstrating that wildlife can be restored across 200 square miles of Central England through the creation of woodlands.
