Fair's fair

Like a cowboy, we stick to our guns when it comes to ethical trading. We source clothes from all over the world and do our utmost to make sure all workers are paid fairly, treated with dignity and respect by their employers.

We work closely with our suppliers to ensure that they observe our code of conduct.

That code of conduct stipulates that all Boden suppliers must ensure:

• Working conditions are safe and hygienic
• Minimum wages are paid
• Regular employment is provided
• Working hours are not excessive
• Freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining are respected
• Employment is freely chosen
• Child labour shall not be used
• No discrimination is practised
• No harsh or inhumane treatment is allowed

In other words, how things should be. Well, how we think they should be anyway.
