My Chinos from 1995 cost £42. I've washed them about 500 times since then. That's less than 9p an outing. They've looked fantastic and I've felt great wearing them for 11 years. They've got a way to go yet.
I pay as much attention to the detail and quality of every product as I did when I first started.
If ever I feel that we are getting something wrong - the shape of a collar, the quality of a seam, the length of a skirt, whatever - I will insist it is corrected. There is no detail of any product that I consider unimportant.
