Green issues
We may be a mail order company. And we may send out lots of catalogues each year. But we do try to ensure that, we aren't harming the environment. The paper used for our catalogues and offer cards is a recyclable and renewable product, made using wood sourced from sustainably managed forests and chlorine-free, bleached pulp. Wherever it is possible, we ensure that our packaging is recyclable and, is made from recycled materials too.
Just to prove that we haven't got anything against trees as a species we've joined forces with Rainforest Concern a few years back to help preserve and maintain 1300 acres of rainforest in Colombia and Ecuador. And last but not least, our London office is well served by tube, train and bus so our employees can commute with a tiny carbon footprint. Some - including Johnnie and our MD Julian - prefer not to leave any footprints at all and rely on pedal power, come rain or shine.
