I bought these trousers as part of a suit with the long line jacket to go with them, in my usual size. The wool is fantastic, so soft, and washes well/looks great after ironing. But.... the fit is so tight around tummy and crotch area, they are really uncomfortable to wear. The lining has to be ironed too and makes them feel as if there is no 'give'so I had to cut it out. The fastenings at the front are soo fragile that they have broken after only a few wears, which is a bit disapointing for such expensive trousers. Not my best purchase, and I feel a bit let down.

Haven't actually worn these yet, but having tried them on I am smitten with them. Beautiful soft feel to them and they are very well made.
A bit long in the leg and I really wish JB would sort out exactly what he means by a 10R!!
Will be wearing them to work as I otherwise live in jeans.

I found these to be a very werid shape. I got the smaller size for me and the crotch was too low, the waist too high and loose and too much excess material around the tummy and bum. I have curves and i do not usually experience this. I consider the cut was just very wrong. It is a huge shame. If Johnnie and the team could get the tailoring section right all my work clothes related dilemas would be sorted!

I got these in the grey. I'm an apple shaped size 12. The fit around the waist was great but they are slim fitting around the thighs. This makes them look good but they do restrict your movement and I wouldn't buy them if I was pear shaped or likely to be doing lunges in them. My husband accidentally put them in the wash and ruined them but I am now ordering two more pairs - a case of style over comfort which is rare for me.

These are not the snug neat fit you see on the model! Or not on me anyway. I ordered size 14L, which were the correct size for the wide leg wool trousers, but huge in the tapered leg trousers. Very baggy in the bum and thigh, tapering to a very narrow ankle, giving a most unflattering harem pants look! Don't imagine that the size 12 would be much narrower in the thigh. And incredibly long, too. I am 5'9" and usually buy L, but these would have needed to be taken up about 2 inches.

I had ordered my usual size 8 in charcoal. The fabric is lovely - but the sizing is terrible. All other Boden trousers I have ordered in size 8 fit perfectly. These are way too big in the waist , hips , thighs..... they seem closer to size 12. I have asked for a refund as I don't feel confident that size 6 would be a better fit.

Good smooth material. Wanted work trousers that fitted and were not flared/wide leg. Had to go down a size though as tried 8 which I am, but the 6 fitted just right. Don't think I am shrinking but a good pair to make you feel smaller than you are!? Got black and grey and worn both already to work this week- NO CREASING!!! Yippee!

The quality of the material was great and I really really wanted the tapered trousers that are pictured, however what arrived (despite have the tapered trousers style code) is a pair of very wide trousers. What is pictured and what I received cannot possibly be the same thing! They will be returned which is a shame.
