Finally i have found a pair of jeans that are nearly just right,i had nearly given up all hope of wearing jeans again. They fit well, they are comfortable and look smart to wear with a blazer or leather jacket, however i am unfortunately a 16+ shorty and really needed the shorter leg length and I cant believe that the larger sizes dont come in the short leg, i really cant work this one out Boden, so although the jeans are lovely and i am keeping them i still have to go and get them shorthened.

Well, sizing, it's a mystery isn't it? The last pair of Boden size 18 jeans I bought about 4 years ago and have just thrown away, were tight to say the least. Whereas these feel more like the size 16 white ones (which I still have, don't wear them much, they get dirty!)which I bought a couple of year before that. They seem nice though, and they're comfy, nice high waist. What can you do? It's a mystery.

I bought this style in indigo denim as I was so happy with my original pair of white bootcut jeans. Overall, both fit extremely well.

However, the denims do feel slightly different; the indigo does seem to 'give' rather more than I would wish; it makes me wonder how much bigger they will go before they are washed.

On the other hand, this is an ideal style for daywear and casual evenings, teamed with a T-shirt and short jacket.

I would, however, echo previous reviewers who've pointed out that these aren't a heavy, winter weight jean; I will be reserving these for milder temperatures.

Please continue to offer us the bootcut style, Boden. It may not be as 'high fashion' as the skinny jean but for some of us it is so much more flattering!!

I ordered these jeans as they were advertised as fitting 'natural waist' - this I like. as i know I don't suit low rise trousers. But these were a terrible fit on me. I am often between a size 14 and 16, so ordered both sizes to try. neither fitted my 'apple' shape properly. The size 14 were too small on the waist but fitted well on the hips and thighs, and the size 16 fitted my waist but way too big and baggy round my hips and thighs. These would probably fit a woman who was more 'pear' shaped, but not good for us 'apples'! Would love a nice jean that fitted on the natural waist, and designed for us 'apples' - ie bigger waist but slimmer round hips and thighs. Also, found the denim fabric quite thin, not good quality for the price.

Ordered these as a replacement to last seasons well worn bootcut jeans (which were huge on arrival and I had to have taken in).
Thought I was being clever in ordering a smaller size (12) this time. I wasnt...sent them back and reordered (not cheap from Austria).
The replacement (14) jeans have arrived they are still a wee bit snug but am ever hopeful they'll stretch up

I'm tall and ordered the long version in the white version which is very slightly off white. Lovely and elegant with tall wedges. Could wear casual day time or look stunning with glam top at night. Pick the right foot wear and you're done.

This is my 4th pair of Boden Bootcut jeans. Whilst the leg length has varied over the last few years, the 16R fits me to a 'T' and seem to have gone down in price. The last time I ordered a pair there was a 13 week delivery time stated! so I went elsewhere. However they didn't fit as well so ordered Boden again recently -still had to wait 3 weeks this time. I'm a curvy 16-18 and am so glad to get into them again.

I have tried on so many pairs of jeans I had almost given up trying to find the perfect fit, even though I am a standard size 10. However at last the search is over, these fit perfectly. The best part is that they sit just below the waist which avoids any hint of the muffin top produced by so many high street jeans. The material is comfortable, soft with just a bit of stretch so they feel good to wear all day. When I ordered them I thought they were expensive but I hope to buy the darker colour in the Autumn. I haven' t washed them yet but they have not gone stretched and baggy with wear which is also a major plus.
