I loved the fabric and the cut but on the grey colourway, the strong colour was a harsh tomato red rather than the softer pinky red as shown in the photos - didn't go with anything in my wardrobe, so had to go back. I would love this skirt in a softer colourway.

My thighs are wider than my hips & I find it difficult to find skirts & trousers which compliment my shape. The skirt is tighter over my thighs, naturally but the fabric, lining and pattern actually accentuate my figure and I feel attractive and confident when I wear this skirt - didn't think a skirt could do that! I haven't washed it yet but it's of good quality.

Sized up in this skirt as reviews said to do so ,am uauallly a12 got 14 and was huge so reordered it in 12 , it's beautiful fabric cut well and good quality ,and unusual design but looks good ,got the cardigan some weeks ago and goes really well ,the cardigan is very fine ,so will be ideal for slightly warmer evenings . The colours are just right yes a little darker than on the pics ,but this didn't matter as the blush cardigan can take the darker colour will wear with some nude wedges I have brought .looks smart,comfy but sexy esp if like me hour glass shape ,clings in all the right places .i has the discount off but love it so much would probably have paid the full price . Well done boden ,my only criticism was having to wait a few weeks for stock to come bac in .

I ordered this skirt with the cardigan pictured [...]However it is a truly beautiful skirt. It is excellent quality and I love the length which is just above the knee as some Boden designs are too long for me.( Boden please note a choice of 2 lengths in dresses would be great). With the cardigan it makes a perfect outfit for a summer christening I will be attending but would look equally nice for drinks after work etc.

I have waited weeks for this skirt to arrive but I'm really pleased with it. Like some other reviewers I found it slightly snug on the waist but nothing loosing a couple of pounds wont cure!!
