These sandals are really lovely and look great. I bought them in the pewter which looks great with most other colours. Heel is a good height for wearing all day and really comfy. Tempted to buy in a different colour. Sizing was way out though. I'm normally a size 5 and they were massive in the length. Buying a size 4 ensured a perfect fit. Other reviewers are right in saying the ankle strap is short but I have thinner ankles so it is nice not to have masses of strap left over once fastened.

I bought these in silver although had wanted them in pewter - but they had already sold out by the time I ordered! I am keeping them as they will be great on holiday for going out in the evening. The only think I would note is that I am always a 37 in Boden footwear but these - although they fit - are slightly smaller than I would expect and quite narrow across the toes. The heel height is good for walking and the wedge makes them comfortable for using on uneven roads and paths.

I ordered these lovely sandals in the Pewter. They have just arrived & I'm really pleased with them. Based on some of the reviews I'd read I wasn't sure they would fit as although my ankles aren't very chunky they're not the slimmest in the world!
But these wedges are great!! Good fit, including the ankle straps and they look great with a heel height which is reasonably elegant but still comfortable. I think they will be very useful for all sorts of occasions.
I vary between size 40 to 41 and am slightly wide across the broadest part of my foot. I ordered a size 41 and it is fine all round.

I have been wanting these wedges for a year but couldn't justify the full price; when they came down in the sale by 25% I snapped up a pair. Just the right heal height as I am tall. I hope to be wearing them all summer long, once the rain stops...!

From having worn the blue version a lot last year, I know that I will also wear these a lot when the sun comes out!!

The only reason that I haven't given them 5 stars is because of the price. They aren't worth the asking price and I only bought them because they were on offer and I have a voucher.

I bought two pairs of these in the cream and the pewter, both in my usual size 5 (38), although I can vary wildly in Boden shoe sizes but paid attention to the previous reviews. The ankle straps for the cream shoes were too short, which meant that I was unable to do them up comfortably, even on the last hole. Also, the left foot of the cream pair was too tight across my toes. However, the pewter pair were a far better fit with longer straps! I have kept the pewter, as they will be a decent work shoe when the summer eventually gets here due mostly to the heel height. Disappointed with the fitting of the cream pair, so returned. Can't understand how two pairs of shoes of the same style and size could vary so much in fit?

I do keep trying Boden shoes and loved the look of these so with the promotion I'd thought I'd give them a go. But sadly same problem, size 3 too tight, size 4 too big! I am technically a 3.5 but don't have this problem usually with other brands and find plenty that fit me but over the years I don't think I have found one pair of Boden shoes to fit! I ordered the Pewter, nice colour, great wedge height although didn't love the design but obviously due to size problem they went back anyway.

Ordered in the Mocha which would be great for work with lots of different things. I can't seem to get the size right though - first I tried the 40 which seemed very generous unlike Boden's usual fit. Then I tried th 39, but that is too tight! Might give the 40 another go as I really like the brown patent.

Also, am I the only person who find the ankle strap very small? If I keep a pair I will have to punch another hole and my ankles are not that big...
