I've been looking for this style of boot for a while - but a lot are too bulky or too exagerated. These are classic & neat but also sexy. They are well made & balanced - so although quite high, they are comfortable to walk in. I can't comment on durability as I only ordered recently - I was lucky as only 2 pairs were left in my size. I've worn them with skinny jeans & with dresses - very versatile! Also , being only 5ft 2", they make me look tall!!

Love these boots - bought the taupe and wore them immediately. Higher than I would normally wear, but completely comfortable and easy to walk in because of the platform. The only thing I would say is that they are quite narrow, so will be even more comfortable once I have worn them in a bit - saying that, no blisters and I walked for a good distance in them on first wearing.

This is my second pair - the first pair wore out on the sole . The boots are very comfortable and can be worn all day without your feet complaining..

I absolutely love these boots. I broke my ankle four years ago and have never got full movement back so high heels are almost off the cards these days. I ordered them in the taupe but didn't get too exited as was sure they would be too high and have to be returned. I bought the purple suede shoe boots last year which I love but find them very uncomfortable after a while as they are very high - however these are perfect. The heels are high enough to look elegant but not too high and with the platform it is hardly noticed. I bought them just before I went on holiday and wore them travelling there and back in total comfort. they look fab with skinny jeans and trousers and I just love them

This is the first time I've had boots from Boden and they are great. I can't stand uncomfortable shoes but these were comfortable all day long and looked great too. Heel hight and platform made me feel tall and elegant when I wore them with a dress. Soles are very thin and think previous reviews are right about getting them re-soled if wearing outdoors a lot.

These boots looked gorgeous in the box and I was excited to receive them after reading the reviews. Unfortunately, they just didn't work with any of my skirts, dresses - the boot just came too far up the leg (maybe it's because I'm only 5'3"?). They would have worked if they were shorter, i.e. just above ankle-length. Really disappointed. I gave them a high rating because they could be OK for other legs!

Love the boots but if you are going to walk on rough surfaces you will need to get them properly soled very quickly. Have only worn them outside once but could see the sole was showing damage already and as I did not want to ruin the boots went to the cobbler to get them professionally soled.

Have only worn them once for a short time so can't comment on how comfortable they are after wearing them all day. They are lovely boots, look great and feel comfortable.
Bought them two days before the sale so am a bit miffed about that!

Love these boots, but for the price have been dissapointed. 1st the material does not appear to be suede. My boots after a few wears are damaged and material has been marked. Heels also damaged as also made from the suede like material. Sole is very poor, wore away after first wear and slipped and fell as no grip!! should not be paying over 100 pounds to have to go get sole put on!! would buy again if problems resolved as love the shape of boot and heel height also very comfortable
