such a shame! I had been really looking forward to receiving these, and despite some of the reviews i have always found Boden items to fit me well, even their maternity range which i can understand is harder to get "right" with so many shapes and sizes to try and suit! I agree though with some of the other reviews, if you can get them on they are just so uncomfortable around the waist band which has no stretch in it - i couldn't even sit down!! I am normally a 12-14 but even the 16 didnt feel comfortable around the waist. Also, be sizing up to the 16 the legs were far too baggy to be described as "skinny", even the 14 legs were not particularly fitted. I am still on the hunt for a good pair of maternity skinnys!! Perhaps if they were made in more of a "jeggings" type stretch fabric they would be more fitted and still have the "give" that they need around the waist. The "over bump" band is absolutely fine - it's just the jeans themselves which are the problem.

Been looking for maternity skinny jeans for a while and these are the best I've found. Had to get a 14 when normally I'm a 12. In doing this, the jeans fit nicely and look great but the over the bump band is a bit baggy at the back so offers no support. Not enough to send them back and doesn't show through clothes but the 12 band fitted better but jeans were too tight.

Overall, great jeans and plenty of stretch for bump to grow. Plus, I'm 5'8" and the leg length is just right but am guessing ankles would be fine wrinkled up a bit if you're shorter.

Great pair of skinny jeans, stay skinny through wear, be warned though there is no stretch/give in the jeans (legs,keeps shape)... I found I had to go 2 sizes up for comfort and fit, normally a size 8, tried 8, 10 and finally went for the 12.

These jeans look absolutely great on and do not look like maternity jeans. However despite the adjustable waistband I do find myself constantly having to pull them up especially after sitting down or bending over. Also find that the fabric band which goes over your tummy feels really restrictive and makes me feel sapped of energy. These are definitely a case of having to suffer a bit in order to wear a stylish pair of jeans when pregnant!

I've worked my way through quite a few pairs of maternity jeans now (baby number 3) and these are by far my favourite. Admittedly I haven't taken them to full term yet, but currently they are just the right skinniness, right length (I'm 5'4), and I love the fact there are belt loops to stop the constant hitching up that I have to do with all my others jeans.
Boden, please could you make them in some other colours?

These jeans are perfect for my apple shape (not pregnant). They fit comfortably and because of the deep stretch band do not leave that extra bulk around my waist, giving a smooth appearance with fitted tops. The indigo demin is a classic and smart dark colour and the legs really fit like a skinny jean should and are extremly flattering even on my 5'1" frame. Excellent. At last I've found the perfect skinny jeans! Thanks Boden.

The jeans are designed for short people as, leg length is very very short and for a size 14, they are really a size 10, very poor labeling.

I am really disappointed in these jeans. The design makes absolutely no sense to me. They fit really well through the leg and thigh, and the bump band itself is fine, but the waistband below the bump band really doesn't work. There is no stretch in the waist band at all, and it is really quite tight. Even though I am naturally slim, and most people still can't tell I am pregnant at 19 weeks the waistband already digs in. As there is no stretch in the waistband at all, it is hard to see how it could work - it would have to be ridiculously low not to be restrictive. It's such a disappointment as the rest of the jeans are a fantastic fit - if there were just a couple of elastic panels in the waist band itself then these would be perfect. I should note that this is not a sizing issue, as it was still a problem in the larger size I ordered, which were too big elsewhere.

Great product which are stylish and comfortable - both key during pregnancy. However with other boden trousers I am a 10 but ended up getting a 14 in these after sending the 10 and 12 back.

I am really pleased with these and wear them all the time. They fit brilliantly, are hugely comfy, can be dressed up or down and go with everything. A staple that I will be wearing up until the birth and beyond.
