I am very pear-shaped with a tummy - this dress (the red floral in 8L) is incredibly flattering and also very comfortable. I usually go for regular length dresses (I'm 5'4", size 8) as I like dresses to fall just above the knee. The regular fell a bit below that so I got the long and it looks just right - and it's nice to have a slightly longer dress for a change.

I bought the black dress - as usual a completely useful classic - sexy enough for restaurant dinners a deux, useful for day with a cami,easy to glam up with accessories for special events.
Usual good quality double layer jersey, hangs really well. I'm a pear and it's cut well enough to buy the smaller size for on top and let it skim over hips

Like the colour (pewter bud). Material thinner than expected but seems nice quality and double layered makes it feel durable but I've not worn or washed it yet - just tried it on. Wasn't too sure about the gathering under the bust as it makes it look a little maternity. Hoping for some sunny weather as it should be smart enough for workwear too!

I started by ordering the moss bud, then ordered the pewter bud and royal blue flowerburst for choice, all in a 10L as I prefer my knees to be just covered for work dresses. (I'm usually a size 10, occasionally a size 12). However, I felt the material looked a little cheap/thin in the flowerburst option and the pewter was a little pale for my complexion. I ended up keeping the moss, my first choice. It's a great dress - hangs beautifully, very flattering (fits in all the right places) and the material is lovely and silky to the touch - I've received many compliments since wearing it to work.

Unfortunately I waited too long to purchase this dress, as Boden were out of stock of the colour I wanted. Sorry to say that the moss colour I did order was a bit too garish for me. Another pain was that, against my better judgement, I ordered a size according to the size guide. Not surprisingly, the dress was way too big for me. Not the worst thing ever to happen to me ;-)
Saying all that, the dress style is just to my liking and, had I been able to get it in my size in a different colour, I would have reordered. The quality and style is lovely, and the material is extremely flattering over my lumps and bumps.
