Girls, buy this dress while it's on sale. I'm about to order another. Bought the 14 petite because I've put on weight recently and happily it feels a little too big. Plenty of room. For those of us bigger on top, this is a very flattering dress, not too low in the neckline and gives a lovely shape overall. As in mercifully hides the bad bits. This is a gorgeous dress. I bought the mercury antique rose version and I love in particular the ruffle collar which adds a little something special to the dress. I love the colours in this dress. I bought the heather corsage heels and a clematis cashmere cropped cardi to match and it all looks so nice together. Really happy. The fit is very flattering as the dress just skims over my shape and it is just so so so comfy. Would love the black version too ;) I am 5ft 3 and the dress just comes to below my knee.

Bought in black and it's extremely flattering - pretty neckline with a soft jersey drape, which skims all sins nicely. Only reason it's going back is that it didn't make me want to do a little dance of pleasure, which is my own personal criteria for all new purchases this year - 9 dresses from Boden so far and counting! Useful and flattering but not exciting.

I originally bought this dress in Mercury Antique Rose and loved it so much I ordered it in black as well, although, being black, I'll probably keep that one for the Autumn. I've worn the dress in MA Rose more than any other dress this Spring and I'm sure I'll be continuing to wear it on cool summer days. In fact, when it's in the washing box I pine for it. I'm an 8 and ordered an 8 and it fits perfectly. SO flattering AND so comfortable to wear. Now, washing - it's been washed many times and, yes, there are some signs of 'rubbing' on the material, BUT that's because, for the first few washes, I'd forgotten to check the care label which does say 'wash inside out'. I'd noticed that the fabric on the inside looked fine, so, as long as you follow Boden's instructions, the dress will still look good after the zillion wears you will give it. Recommend you buy two - a print, and black. In fact, the black could be worn for a special occasion, dressed up with jewellery. I think this is probably my favourite, most-worn Boden dress ever.

The colourway I chose looked very pretty in the picture on the model, but when I unpacked it, the colour of the ruffle was really bright and the pattern not very subtle at all. Lovely fit though so very disappointed by the material and having to send it back.
