Very pretty and versatile. Flattering too - and my tummy isn't so flat - it doesn't emphasise a tummy that isn't perfect! Hangs well and is a good length for me. I am 5'9'' and the 12 L is perfect - finishing just below my knees. Would definately recommend. Very pleased. I bought the Charcoal colour which is lovely.

I bought the t-shirt version of this dress last year and practically lived in them! So I was really looking forward to the dress. But I felt the material was not as good as the t-shirts and felt it was 'hanging' off me, making me look frumpy. The price tag was quite high for what my hubby described as a long t-shirt... Gone back!

Ordered the charcoal colour, and like the design/fit/fabric so much I've just ordered it in blue too. Lovely fabric, drapes nicely, not clingy, and wrinkle resistant. Perfect for holidays, with sandals, and lovely for work. The empire line is very flattering, neck not too low. It'll last into Autumn with a nice cardi and tights/boots I'm sure. Definitely a keeper.

I loved this dress so much that I decided to order the only colourway left in my size which was the herb size 14R. I found the length too short so should have ordered the long but I returned the dress as the herb colourway was not to my taste. The material is a nice jersey stretchy type of fabric but I did think that the price was a tad dear for what you get.

This dress is perfect for me, it is empire line and as I am busty this gives me a good shape, it is very comfortable, I have worn it for work and it keeps it shape well. It is not too low which being busty is sometimes a problem for me. I can see me getting lots of wear out of this dress. I ordered the brown colour and it is a nice shade not to dark so it would be suitable for colder days as well as the summer. Well done BOden.

Despite some of the negative reviews, I think this is a really nice dress and I'm pleased with my purchase. The crochet detail at the neck is pretty and I don't think it's too heavy. I bought a size 14, which I sometimes find too big around the neck, but the top half of the dress actually fits really well with no gaping. The empire line is flattering for my (pear) shape and the dress drapes nicely without drawing attention to my mummy tummy and hips/bum. Personally, I like the double layer material better than thick jersey fabric because of the way it drapes, although it does seem more flimsy. I suppose if I had to criticise anything, I'd say that there's not a lot going on in the bottom half of the dress, but I think the detail around the neckline and the cute sleeves offset that.

I bought this dress in two colours - charcoal and herb - with a view to choosing one of the two. Both were nice, but I kept the charcoal because I figured the colour was more versatile and easier to accessorize.

So far I've worn this to work with thick tights, boots and a waterfall cardie, but I think it'll look equally nice with sandals in summer.

I'm quite surprised this has received so many really positive reviews.

It's okay but quite boring/humdum for the price. I thought the neck embroidery detail let it down too. This was too dense to see any real embroidery detail. I'm sorry to be so negative but it just looks like a 'lump' of thick material stuck around the neckline and as the dress fabric is so fine, in my opinion the dress ends up looking top-heavy.

This dress will be lovely to wear during the day in warm weather, on special occassions such as a lunch time event, or just to casually relax in. It's so comfortable to wear and has a lovely romantic Jane austin type feel about it. I love the empire line design and its simpicity.
Overall it's a lovely feminine soft dress.

The shape and style of this dress, particularly the neckline, make it an ideal everyday no fuss dress AND it fitted me well (12R). Reluctantly I've sent it back because I feel that the skirt looks tatty around the hem (although lined the material is very flimsy) and this gives the dress a cheap and nasty appearance. I much prefer the casual jersey dress material.
