Slender reviewers said this dress might be better on a busty type, and so with my 34DD in mind I ordered. They were right. There is room for the DD; my bust is flattered and not enlarged at all by the gorgeous ruching, and it doesn't gape anywhere (back of underarm, for instance) so with the correct not-too-full-cup bra it will be perfect. I ordered a 12 and currently I am a bit of a chubby 12 rather than a thin 12, and it is snug but fine. I tried on a 14 and my husband judged it far too loose for the dress's style, so let that be your guide. DIVINE rich purple colour. Lovely trim makes it special. Value for money, I'd say, with a Boden offer of some kind.

I have been looking for something to wear to my brother's wedding for weeks. Finally ordered 4 dresses from Boden and they were all good but this is by far the best. I'm smaller on top than on the bottom and this dress fits great. It's not too fitted so even if you're not really thin it will look flattering. Looking forwrd to wearing it now! I'm 5ft 6.5 and the length is perfect - sits just above the knee.

I love this dress. It is well made and feels very comfortable to wear. It's smart and stylish and could be dressed up with a jacket for a wedding or down with a cashmere cardigan for a dinner party. I am size 10-12 with a bit of a tummy, 5ft 2.5. The dress hangs just over my knee and only shows a little leg when sitting down. I may treat myself to the truffle version too x

Bought this dress in the truffle colour to wear to a wedding in the late summer. The colour is lovely,and I'd say its true to size which is refreshing, I find dresses that fit in the bust are usually too big on the hips or vice versa. Length is perfect also. Like it so much I'm very tempted to buy it in the purple too.

This is a gorgeous unusual shade of purple, really amazing.
My only moan would be it was a tad too short for me. I'm 5'10 and do prefer dresses to be a tiny bit longer. It's okay when your standing but shows a lot of leg when you sit down.

This dress is beautiful and fits perfectly. It will be great to wear to work or in the evening. The only possible improvement would be chiffon sleeves as I am getting to the stage where I shouldn't really leave the tops of my arms uncovered! Although that won't stop me wearing it on its own!

Beautiful dress for a special occasion but not for me. Bought my usual size 12 , I'm 5' 6 so the dress length was good finished just on my knee. However overall it was an odd shape, probably suit someone with a bigger bust. Sorry but going back.
