Bought this for my daughter for her school prom. She is a size 8/10, we ordered an 8 which is good as long as she wear the straps to feel secure. Originally ordered the Orchid which looked very washed out against fair skin, so re-ordered the blue which is great. She is 5'1 and wants it shortened slightly to be 'trendy'

Bought this in blue for my 14 yr old daughter as a bridesmaid's dress. Lovely design for a teenager as it's quite modest with the straps. Looked beautiful and she was comfortable enough in it to wear it all day. Very happy.

I really wish Boden wouldn't line expensive silk dresses with polyester. It's not only corner-cutting but it completely ruins the hang of the dress because the lining is so static that the silk layer sticks to it instead of draping properly. This could have been a lovely dress if it didn't have this horrible cheap lining. Also, people often buy silk dresses to wear in summer weather (I was looking at this for a wedding abroad), and the last thing you want to be wearing when it's hot is polyester.
