I bought this for my registry office wedding - I was looking for something pretty, but not "meringue". On the plus side, the fabric is beautiful, and the tiers of silk are stunning. I agree with other reviewers that the colour is more of a yellowy-cream, but that does give it a vintage look, although might not be as versatile on different skin tones. My critique of this is focused on the fit. I am a slim hourglass shape, so reasonably even top and bottom halves, but this was loose on the bust and tight on the bottom, to the point where the tiers of silk hung nicely everywhere else, but kind of looked stuck on my bum! If I had gone a size up then the bust would have been even bigger. Sadly, this is now going back, and the search for a suitable dress continues.

I'm usually a 12 in Boden clothes but I could barely get this dress over my hips and bottom! Such a shame as I loved the material and the look of the dress.

I am 60, love clothes, and eventually, after a lot of false starts, found and ordered this dress to wear for my informal wedding in June. It is perfect. It is beautifully made, flattering to my size 12 curvy figure, and exactly the right length to wear with the kitten heels I have already bought. I am so looking forward to my special day now!

What a beautiful dress! I'm new to ordering from Boden and I felt like I was taking a gamble ordering a dress on line from a new company, but it was just so pretty and the other reviews were good, I went ahead. I've been looking for a dress to go with a silk, cream colored hat I bought to wear to Royal Ascot. The dress arrived yesterday and it was perfect! It's fits well, mets all the new dressing requirements and goes perfectly with my hat! I'll be ordering more from Boden!

I ordered this dress in blue to wear to a friend's wedding. It's an incredibly pretty colour, and the dress is beautifully made. Unfortunately it's a little on the short side for me, and being particularly "curvy" it's not a length I can get away with! Such a shame - it's a beautiful dress.

Ordered the cream one in a size 8. Lovely material and very stylish but unfortunately as very often happens with Boden too big. Not sure though whether a size down won't be too tight at the hips. Very very sorry to return them as otherwise lovely.

I bought this dress for a wedding and am thrilled with it. It fits beautifully, I love the length, just above the knee so looks stylish with heels. The design is figure hugging and the front plunges just enough without gaping.The little cap sleeves are lovely. I intend to dress it up with a cream wrap ( I bought the blue dress )and some stylish jewelry. I know I will get a lot of wear out of this dress, it is perfect for a smart dinner, an afternoon tea party etc
