I bought this dress for a ball and also for a wedding. I've received lots of compliments! The navy blue is a lovely rich colour and the design is very elegant. I'm a petite 8 and found it a very good fit. Just one little criticism and that is that it tends to crease quite easily.

The dress fitted me perfectly, apart from the cap sleeves on my upper arms. I have broad shoulders and felt the cap sleeves were a little too snug. I could have adjusted the button, but decided to send back. However, I am now thinking about reordering and getting a second opinon. I ordered the pink which is a gorgeous colour.

This dress could be the perfect piece for your wardrobe. Unfortunately Boden you have all the sizing wrong. I am always a Boden size 12 but having read the reviews I decided to order a size larger. The 14 looked great as long as I didn't breathe out or sit down. I was very disappointed and ordered a size 16. The 16 was about 1cm larger around the hips and so absolutely no good at all. I sent both dresses back and it cost me [$]. I'm very dissapointed that the sizing of this beautiful dress hasn't been corrected!

A beautiful dress, fabulous material, wonderful rich colours and a fabulous design but so disappointing that it is not true to size. Come on Boden, there is no excuse for this. I am always a Boden size 14 and more recently I am more of a 12-14. I ordered this dress along with two other Boden dresses, all in a 14. The fit on the others was perfect but the Olivia was very tight all across the middle so I ordered it in a 16, in each colour. There is hardly any difference in the sizing compared to the 14 I had previously received - my 16 is more like a 12. There is no way it would fit a true size 16 women. Sadly I won't be keeping this dress as it's not worth the cost for a dress that is such a poor fit.

Stunning dress, fabric and colour beautiful(I purchased the rose colour) ,the little sleeves just pretty and practical enough to make a woman feel confident. I am so sad to return it.I am usually a size 12 from Boden,but this one shows my tummy "not a good look," generally feels neat across the hip area.I believe the next size up would be to big at the bust area.
