The jacket looks good. The material is a bit stiff, but canvas usually gets "lived in" after a while
I had worn the Pea Coat 3 times when one of the buttons fell off outdoors. I was able to go back and find it, and only then I realised no spare buttons had been enclosed with my jacket. The button would have been difficult to source as it is a little unusual.

nice long jacket, but feel so badly let down by the quality of the detail. I paid full price for this and am stunned at the poor quality of the workmanship. The buttons - which are just the right style- fall off easily and have not been sewn on properly. I now have one completely missing so can't wear the jacket, will have to source new buttons - or just give up and send the item back. Very disappointing, expecially for that price.

I bought this jacket despite the other reviews I had read as I felt it was exactly the kind of jacket I had been looking for. Having been concerned due to other reviews about the fabric I found it fine - durable and hard-wearing but fine.
The buttons are a different matter however. I have worn the coat 4 times and already all the buttons along one side have fallen off. Not what I would expect for the price.

From the photo, this was exactly the sort of look that I love- i ordered it in January and was really excited to receive it. However, it was not the spring weight nautical blazer i was after( as per photo) but more a heavy canvas type coat.Sorry - definitely not for me.. so disappointed. I think the problem is not in the jacket itself, but in the description and more so the photo.

OK so some negative reviews before me which I completely understand. However this jacket does soften with use. I wanted a jacket to put on to go out that was smart/casual with jeans and boots, which I would layer up underneath. It fits that bill well and I can see me wearing it a lot. BUT nearly all the buttons have literally fallen off whilst wearing it within a few wears - I will literally be standing there and another one falls off on to the floor - absolutely ridiculous. So I've pulled the remaining two off (which was easy as they were sewn on SO badly) and will have to sew them all back on myself. I know I sound lazy but that is not what I pay for nor what I want to spend my Sunday evening doing. But I'm still pleased I got the jacket - the cuffs have some nice ribbon style binding on them by the way.

This jacket is a lovely style and the buttons compliment it. It looks very smart but the material is rather stiff which makes the jacket heavy and bulky. I would say that it is true to size and a dark navy as described. Had it been a softer material it would have been just what I am looking for. Sorry Boden but I am sending it back.
