Very practical and stylish jacket. I love the waxed finish and cut. I am usually a size 10 but bought a size 12 due to other comments about tight fit but I think a size 10 would have been fine.

I bought an earlier version of this biker jacket and have been wearing it since September. Today I decided to take it to be dry cleaned but, checking the labels before I set off, noticed that in fact it is sponge clean only. That is all very well for the odd mark here and there but daily grime is now ingrained and very little can be done about it. I feel sad because I love this jacket for fresh spring days with a lambswool poloneck underneath (you have to wear something fine but cosy 'cos there isn't much room for anything more. I also feel a bit silly though for buying a garment that could not be cleaned properly. I'd hoped still to be wearing it in 10 years' time but now I feel its life has been shortened to about three years.

I was so disappointed with this jacket. It was waterproof, windproof and a good fit. However after only two weeks of wear the belt loop fell off. It's really not what I expect from Boden! Bit of a "wet let down!!"

Received this about two weeks and it was love at first sight. The grape bubbles is eye catching and has got loads of compliments. It is smart enough to wear to work even with skirts and yet looks great with jeans too.

I bought the winter parka and wanted a shorter version. I'm 5'7 B cup and between 12/14. I usually size up with coats and jackets and got a size 14 here. I have a broad back but this fits perfectly and I can get a woolly underneath. It looks great and I feel really trendy in it. My only criticism is that it could be a couple of inches longer and maybe to make it perfect a detachable hood. Otherwise a great quality well make garment. I tried one of these a couple of years ago and it was too tight even at size 14 and the waist was too high but these seems to fit perfectly contrary to my expectations on reading the other reviews. Got on promo so a bargain very pleased.

The sizing was just about perfect in every way including sleeve length, and length overall. The design at the shoulders created a flattering accent and I thought I looked taller and slimmer than I may otherwise have appeared in a similar waterproof coat.

Really great jacket but just too short in the body. Strangely the arms were fine in length but the body length just a few inches too short.

I've been after a casual shorter spring and autumn jacket for a while and when this appeared in the sale, jumped at the opportunity to get it in grape bubbles. I took note of the comments made by others about the sizing and sized up from my normal 10 to 12 and am glad I did. I don't think I will get much in the way of layers underneath but it is a comfortable rather than snug fit. Being someone who loves colour, I love the pattern, I also like the detailing and the showerproof nature of the fabric. As someone who's had a well known make of waxed jacket in the past I am used to the fact that it can't be washed and it doesn't smell as much as that make either! My husband's first comment without prompting was that "it looks like a biker jacket", so well done designing something that is reminiscent of its namesake! I have a long body and the only thing I would change about it would be to make it a couple of inches longer.

The jacket looks really good apart from the belt which I think makes the jacket a little messy. I have replaced this with a leather belt and it looks much better.

It is nice to wear a practical jacket that enhances my figure.
