This is the perfect mac for any dull rainy day and great for standing around at the nursery at pick up time. Fantastic print (navy with bright pink flower design). I have had loads of compliments already from friends and strangers!
Good fit with plenty of room incase you need to wear a jumper underneath. It even has a hood so no need for an umbrella.

I felt almost forced into buying a rainday mac due to this rubbish weather we are having in the UK. In fact, I was in such a hurry to wear it that, no sooner was it delivered, I had it on my back within minutes and went out to the supermarket not realising that there was still tissue paper covering the buttons! The navy floral print is fun and eye-catching, the hood 'sits well' and the pockets are very handy for poo bags for my Jack Russell. All in all, an essential purchase.

This is my second Boden rain coat. The first I bought about 3 years ago and have worn to death. I always got comments about it wherever I went. Even though it wasn't washable I washed it numerous times successfully. The colour eventually faded slightly but it was the best coat I have ever had. The new version has some nice additions. A zip is a welcome improvement and there are some subtle added design details. I love it all over again.

I bought the navy bloom mac and I'm very pleased with it. I was unsure about the pattern at first and considered sending it back a few times (I would have bought the navy bloom shopper immediately instead!!). But the print is vibrant and "cheerfully busy" , with beautiful and varied hues of pink and green (for info, the lining is the same colour as the brightest shade of green on the leaves, and the zip colour echoes the light pink of the flowers), which are an amazing combination with the elegant shade of 'deep navy' of the background. The coat itself is very well-made: it has a slightly fitted shape (like a well-cut coat) enhanced by a certain stiffness (reminiscent of raincoats) in the fabric (hence a great coat which you can just "throw on", looking instantly stylish, especially early in the morning on the school run!). It has proved very useful and very reliable in the current "Spring" weather, keeping me dry AND stylish! I wear it even when it's not raining (!), because it also doubles as a lovely "mid-season" coat, in my opinion. I ordered a size 14 (I'm between a 12 and a 14 in Boden clothes: 12 in most skirts, 12 in most dresses and some "generous" jackets but bought the tweed jacket(S) in 14, as the 12 was ok on the bust but too tight on the waist; this season's Tipped Bazer in 14 was too big to my liking, although it fitted well on the shoulders, it didn't look fitted enough on me. I'm just trying to help you choose the correct sizing by example, not record my order history here!!) and although the waist could be pinched in a little (an earlier review mentions some "DIY alterations" by moving the inward button and it is a super tip), it is overall perfect (I'm hoping to use it up to the end of the Autumn, with a warm layer underneath!) So, in short (!), I just couldn't part with it! It is quite unique.
The only reason I give it 4 stars out of 5 is because it is dry-clean only,,, But don't give this coat a miss because of that, it'd be such a shame!
