I took heed of the comments advising the wearer to size down - great advice! I'm normally a size 14, the 12 is just perfect.
I LOVE the colour - parsely is, in fact, a lovely, soft pale lime - on trend at present and will still look good for many seasons to come.
I can't wait to wear it!

I really loved the look of this coat on the model and i love it. The only negative thing is that the material at the top of the pleat on the back ripped ever so slightly the first time i put it on so i have to be very careful when i put it on and it took the shine off my lovely new coat slightly. I also agree with other comments about the button holes being too small for the buttons

I so wanted to like this coat, but it was not to be.
The design is tent-like and too much material at the back.
Buttons pretty but impossible do undo them withouth breaking your nails.
Material too stiff.
Would only suit very tall and broad-shouldered women.
This would be a great design if you used less material and perhaps use wool for winter.

I love buying clothes from Boden which simply cannot be found elsewhere, and have a real designer feel and look to them. This coat very much falls into this catagory, and is simply perfect. I love the colour, it is a spring fresh, but subtle shade of pale lime, and looks fabulous with all the latest fashion colours. I love the flower lining, which is the same patten as the two dresses that I ordered recently, and the shape is so classic. This is a gorgeous coat, crying out for some warmish spring weather to give me an opportunity to wear it.

I bought this in a size 8 in navy, having sized down from my usual size 10. The fit is fine, if a little shapeless, but I just feel horrid wearing this. I ordered it with a view to wearing it with casual clothes, similar to the styling of the model shot, to give a 'pulled together' casual look. However to me this item just shouts 'office', which is not what I'm looking for at all. I really don't like the woven fabric. Overall, a real shame. But possibly worth considering by those looking for office wear.

I wanted to love this coat as it looked lovely on the model but alas i could not. Unfortunately this coat will have to go back. The fabric & lining is lovely and a great summer navy colour but there is so much wrong with this coat.
As other reviewers have said it creases terribly and the buttons are impossible to open and close without hurting your fingertips! The reason it is going back is because it is essentially shapeless. It hangs from the shoulders in a triangular shape and just looks like a mans overcoat. It makes me look pregnant (it could be a good maternity coat). I am 5ft 9 and size 12 to 14 and could carry the shapelessness of it to some degree but short persons beware!

It's the first time that I've bought something from Boden and I wasn't disappointed.I've been looking for a stylish coat that can be worn to work but also dressed up or down dependent on the occasion, an all rounder and this coat is just that.I'm quite busty so didn't want anything too tight across the chest so paid particular attention to the sizing guide and ordered a 14 which is perfect. Because the coat flares out it skims over the hips and bottom area which suits my hourglass shape.The lining in the coat is gorgeous and I hope Boden add a picture of this as you could pick colours out for adding scarves etc.[...].The button holes are a little on the tight side and there is only one spare button which worries me slightly as the buttons are made in matching fabric to the coat so if you lose more than one in the future you'd be in trouble.

I loved the look of this coat, but its a disappointment. 1st the size is very big, I am always a 14 but it had masses of material in the back, so I ordered a 12 which sadly was not much better. The back should swing out with the pleat back but furls under and is a strange shape. It didn't matter how much I tried to pull it into shape it would not go. The material is lovely but creases so easily. I hung the coat for a week and the creases are still in, when I sat down the back looked awful. Also the material is stiff and the button holes seem too small for the buttons and I struggled to open and close them. Then the shank of one of the buttons broke when I tried to open it. going back I am afraid, but it could have been lovely.

I remember a coat with similar woven fabric a few years back. Such a beautiful fabric. Also loved the collar. It is so girly and cute. Love the pleat at the back which gives an interesting twist to the shape. Love the lining which is a nice contrast to the navy blue. Love the cut at the sleeves. Little details that mean a lot...
No choice for me between comfort and style. I want both and this coat does it for me.

Tiny problem: I spend so much time trying to work out the buttonholes! Are they a bit too tight or are the buttons too small? But hey, I can live with it! thank you.
