We chose this bikini instead of the tankini which didn't have matching pants available when we tried to order. My daughter is a slender 6 year old and the age 5-6 fits well (with a bit of room for growing). I had reservations about the amount of flesh 'on show' and worried it might be a bit too old compared to the tankini which offers more coverage. However, we are pleased with our purchase. The fabric is lovely, the red colourway is fresh, and the ruffles make it more appropriate for a 6 year old. My daughter thinks she's a real surfer now! (Though I still would have preferred the tankini and pants - come on Boden, selling out before summer has started?...

Bikini fits great, looks fantastic, but really not that keen on any of the colourways. My daughter loves it but she doesnt really think the colours are fab either - she picked the best of a bad bunch colourwise. Does look great on though.
