Very pleased with the fit, fabric and design for my average 9 year old (she is 137 tall and slim but not skinny) but mildly miffed that the bottom got there before the top, which came some weeks late. Not that she has had much opportunity to wear it.

I bought size 13/14 for my daughter, who is 12, but on the tall side. She is slim but not skinny, and the top (and bottoms) fit perfectly. It's a nice cut, the top has enough fabric to it to enable active water play and swimming without any worries about looking indecent. We had to by the Hawaian design, since the blue striped one was out of stock, which looks very pretty.

Unlike the bottoms which were too tight at the waist for my slim almost 10 year old, the age 9/10 top was far too big in length and width. The swimsuit was a much better fit.
