I ordered this in the Apple Slice and Lemon fizz, my daughter has swimming lessons every week, they wash well after being in the local pool. My daughter is a slim 4 year old, I ordered 4 -5 size and this will probably fit next year, I haven't noticed any bagging after swimming. Lovely material and gorgeous classy patterns - lovely - thank you Boden.

My daughter loved this lemony swimming costume. We brought the same design last year and loved them. We find the shiny costumes get sand stuck in the fabric at the beach but DO NOT have the same problem with these jersey ones.
It looks really cute on my daughter with the little frill and she loves green and yellow so the colours were perfect.

I only buy boden swimwear for my children as the quality is good and designs stylish. My 9 year old chose this in the aqua colour way. The fabric was good quality and the design very pretty. Unfortunately, the cut was not at all good for my daughter who is of average size, with slim hips. The fabric appeared tight across her tummy, but there was a roll of excess fabric on her back. The neckline was also too low for her to wear. I have returned this item for exchange to another style.

I ordered this in 5-6 for my 4.5 year old who wears 5-6 in all her other Boden clothes. However, whilst it looked lovely on and fitted her perfectly when dry, she came out of the pool with a bulge of material around her bottom, the neckline around her lower chest and the halter-neck pulling on the back of her neck and leaving a mark. I am now exchanging for a 4-5 in the hope that this solves the problem but am worried whether it will be long enough in the body.
The print (RED) is gorgeous and the little frill at the top so sweet but if it is no good once wet then it's not a swimsuit !
I will update this review once we have tried the smaller size as I would love it to be just right.

Ordered in lemon. lovely pretty old fashioned look swimsuit - feminine but fun for my 8 year old. Fabric soft and lovely and great change to get away from the usual shiny Lycra type costume - although wonder how well it will fair with chlorine and washing sun cream out of it.

A really pretty swimsuit. The material is the standard 'heavy' fabric used previously which does tend to get and stay very wet for a long time, but it does also ensure the swimsuit really lasts.

My daughter is a tall 7 year old, so I bought the 9-10yr one. It fits, if anything will be too small soon, but seems a bit low at the neckline, and she doesnt feel particularly comfortable in it as a result. Good quality fabric etc, fit a bit frustrating. As a result I would feel nervous about recommending it, though if you know your daughter is a standard Boden size I am sure it would be fine.
