Bought the blue and white stripe version for my 5 year old. I ordered both the 5-6 and 7-8 and after trying them on my daughter asked to have the larger one as it seemed to fit better in length on her. She is average height so I was surprised. The fabric is lovely and the colours are so perfect for summer. My daughter will get a lot of use out of this on the beach this year.

I buy two swimsuits a year for pool and beach. this year the sizing seemed out of sync. my tallish skinny 10yr usually has a smaller size in boden. (their t shirts never fit -are always boxy and too square) but the swimmers are usually ok. this year we settled for 12 - 13 a bit too baggy rather than 11-12 slightly too tight. i feel the sizes in this age range need looking at. lovely suit though and a fab shade of red.

Unfortunately at age 61/2 the 5-6 size is too small but the next size 7-8 is enormous on her. Really needed an age 6-7. Such a shame as its a good style and colour. I have kept it as she will eventually grow in to it but have had to buy another cozzie in a different brand that does make a 6-7 size for now

I like the cross over straps as the fit is secure and won't slip off the shoulders. The material is not thin and flimsy and so hopefully will not perish. One point- my daughter is slim, aged 9 1/2 and 141 cm and I ordered the 13/14 size and it fits exactly - I know she's tall, but buyers may need to size up when ordering.
