Have bought this style of skirt and love them as they last for ages. The drawstring waist means they can be worn for a couple of years. I am lucky having 2 girls so they get passed down after 2 years and still look as good as when they were bought. Also don't need ironing another bonus!
Have to say though the material of this skirt feels slightly thicker than previous ones.

Gorgeous skirt in Candy Meadow, my 5 year old loves it and it goes with lots of colours. Really swirly, and a lovely longer length. Size 5-6 fits well with room for growth. BUT disappointed to see that after only a few wears (and not yet washed!) some of the overlocked stitching at the top of the frills has pulled away from the edge of the fabric leaving a loop of stitching hanging from the skirt. Hoping Boden will exchange it for another one.....

Very pretty skirt it has a lot of movement to it, the fabric is lightweight for Summer and will get plenty of use.

This is my daughter's new favourite skirt. The material is good quality, nice and thick without being heavy. It has a functional drawstring and gives a full proper twirl which she loves.

We first bought the Candy Meadow, which was very nice but as the majority of her tops are pink and purple based, didn't go quite so well with her wardrobe. We then bought the French Blue Blossom which is far far prettier in reality than the pictures show. The pictures really don't do it justice, the colours are beautiful and the contrast of the pretty pinks and green create a contrast against the deep blue background which is stunning.

One strange point, the French Blue was ever so slightly smaller than the Candy Meadow, even though we had ordered and received the same size (9-10y) for both. It still fits fine though. (she is a taller than average 7r old)

I order these skirts every spring/summer as my 5 year old loves them (as do I). This years version is a weightier fabric and feels far better in quality than last years version. The functional drawstring is great as you can buy big and get more wear. The colours in the Candy Meadow print are beautiful. We have also ordered the French Blue and hope that is as nice.
