This is a lovely summer skirt which I oredered in 5-6 yrs for my small 6 yr old. Perfect in the waist but feels a bit short, will have to wear with leggings next year!! Nevertheless its a lovely skirt, lovely fabric which is fully lined and has pockets. Am very pleased with it and would recommend, size up though as slightly on the small side.

11 year old loves the ' mature floral' blue skirt whereas 9 year old loves the dog print in a subtle turquoise. Ideal for all occasions! A lightweight fun skirt!

My tall, slim,sporty 8 year old daughter loves this.Comfort is a must though, so bearing that in mind I ordered age 9-10. It is a little big width wise as I expected but sits nicely on her hips and will fit her next year too.It is cotton so does crease but don't think it's that noticable and my 8 yr old is unlikely to notice !It's so difficult to find pretty fashionable clothes, so thanks again Boden.

I bought the blue flowery design and my 7 yr old looks great in it with a pair of leggings and her denim jacket. Very swirly and the pockets are great.

I was really looking forward to my little girl wearing this skirt. It arrived VERY creased, but I ironed it, ready for a special occasion. I notice that the material had a couple of faults and the waist and had a few stitches missing. The skirt seemed large on my average 4 year old. I've sent the item back[...]E print and colour is lovely, but on the whole the skirt is not what I expect from Boden.

I also have a dog mad daughter and gave her this as an Easter present.
She is 9 and fairly tall. I ordered the size 13-14yrs beacuse 1. It was the last size left in stock and 2.I always size up the get the length she needs.
She loves it. It's just and inch above her knees.
However the fabric isn't the same quality as previous years. I expected the cotton to be the same, I'm am disappointed with the fabric. The thread count is less (maybe a tinner fabric was needed to accommodate the gathering at the waist?)and the fabric has a dull finish.
It has shired back elastication, which is ok but I prefer the adjustable waistband of former years.
The construction is as good as ever and it is lined. Really nicely sewn with a tiny pie crust frill carried round to the front of the waistband so the back and front match. A beatiful touch.

I bought this skirt for my doggie mad daughter before we went on holiday. She loves it and its perfect for twirling! Instead of it being a summer skirt shes turned it into a winter one to- worn with leggings/tights. She loves it and its her favourite item of clothing! The colour and shape is perfect and its not itchy like most kiddie skirts are these days!!
I love it, she loves it!
