I've ticked all the pro boxes as it is fabulous! I was hesitant about the pattern but opted for the slightly cheaper one as it was surplus to needs (!) and it has actually been used more than any other skirt! Absolutely lovely and if there were more days in the week I'd buy another....oh, and where is the grown up size please Boden - ! WANT ONE?!

Ordered the 9-10 size in the ticking stripe for my tallish, almost 7 year old. Although it is on the large side across the hips & waist, the length is perfect on her... hubby is fussy about short skirts! The drawstring waistband is a plus... although my daughter is average build, we often find that waistbands can be a little on the snug side & uncomfortable for her... this skirt got the thumbs up!

Be warned that the off-white skirt is very off-white...more like ecru, I think. Looks much darker than in the picture on the website. The fabric is also thinner than I expected. All in all, not special enough to keep. The sizing seemed pretty true to size - a size 7–8 fitted my skinny just-9-yr-old but was a bit on the short side.

Bought this skirt in size 7-8 for my very tall 5 year old, the length is just right and it is good that the waist ties actually work so fits her at the waist, but there seems to be a bit too much material when the skirt is pulled in at the waist so making it not an ideal fit. The waist band material also was starting to become bobbly when it arrived. My daughter really likes the skirt so we will be keeping it, it does suit her and will be good for holidays, it should be quite a versatile item and will match a lot of her tops.

A very versatile skirt, I was glad to see it back this season. Daughter loves it , refuses to wear anything too girly so this fits the bill. Denim of a good quality, no complaints about waistband as we love this type of comfort and looks fine on. Have age 9-10 for tall slim 8 year old and fits well, unlike tops that have had to be returned for 11-12 to get right fit. Matches well with all her tops, would have bought another if available in red, orange or green, colours available are all too similar but would definitely recommend!
