They are just super. I bought them for my nearly 5 years old daughter (size 5y, Flower patern). Very nice vivid colour, feels true to size, there were no complaints about them...at the moment worn with the leggins as it is not so warm yet but I am sure they will be a hit in the summer time too.

We bought the flower garden shorts in age 9 for my tall, slim 7 year old. They are the perfect size on the waist (the shorts are pulled in to the third hole) but generous on the hips. I would certainly recommend sizing up as the waist is actually quite comparable to some Boden age 6 shorts we have from previous years! My daughter loves the pattern and the fabric is incredibly soft. Once you get the correct size these are lovely shorts.

Don't have girlie daughter so this suits her fine. Flowery lining and button detail as well as adjustable waist all make these stand out from other similar shorts out there. Length is good as daughter is still young so not too short is great. I think their best feature is the versatility that a plain fabric lends - they go with practically everything else she has. One happy mummy!

I bought a size 8 for my 8 year old. We are going away in a few days and so I wanted them to fit and last this summer. I generally find Boden on the big size but these shorts are so small. The fit is closer to a 6 year old then an 8 year old.

Purchased aged 5 in floral for my slim but tallish 4 yr old. She loves them and so do I - very pretty and girly, but practical at the same time. Unlike other reviewers, we did not have a problem with the waist - they come up big on her as I would have expected, but will be fine with the waist adjusters. They are, however, short shorts! Overall, we are very happy with them, and just need some sunny weather to wear them now!

Got these for my 5yr old grand-daughter, both she and her mum loved them. Lovely floral print and great quality material.
Just one TINY gumble, the adjustable waist elastic is not secured - so be careful to always keep buttoned or it may disappear inside hem. This is the same on all adjustable waist shorts I've purchased.
