I did size down as recommended by other reviews and this was the right decision as they are on the large side. This saved a lot of time & trouble in having to return them. My daughter (12 year old) is delighted with them saying that they are comfortable and stylish- which says a lot from a fussy almost teenager!

A gorgeous and stylish sandal. Perfect for little girls who need a bit more support than a simple flip flop and comfortable enough for walking and most importantly playing! I think for very little girls (my 3 old for instance) the toe bar initially takes some getting used to - but once worn in, perfect in every way. More colours and patterns please!

I have average wide size 4 feet but high arches from dancing and they fit just fine.

There is nothing like this in the ladies shoe section so I took a chance on the 39 in gold for me ( 47yrs and a wide footed size 6). FABULOUS!!. They come up huge and wide, sent them back for a 38 and they are perfection. The gold colour is muted and not bling, or disney princess. I would like the blue dotty ones at some point. If you love birkenstocks, and I live in them, you will not be disappointed with these. If you are buying for a young girl they are very wide fitting and come up big, I would size down if you are a half size.

Bought for my 8 year old. She has always been a fan of my Birkenstocks, so when I saw these I thought how perfect. A lovely design and a good price especially when bought on the deal [...]. She wears a 13.5 in [...]and so I bought her a 33. They have a good amount of room to last the summer. My 8 year old has never struggled with wearing things between her toes but I did buy a pair for my 3 year old and she refused to wear anything between her toes. Funny little thing. A really super sandal.

Nice sandals, soft leather, durable buckle. However, I wished they came with velcro fastening rather than a buckle so that my 3-year-old could put them on on her own. The insole is not padded not like the other footbedded leather sandals which is a shame but overall a good pair of sandals for everyday wear.
