Colours on dress appear more faded than depicted online and in catalogue. Item looks pre-washed! Ordered size 4-5 in flowery design for average nearly 4 year old. Dress sits well below the knee and armholes are quite large. Fit across body is fine. Decided to keep dress as my daughter loved it and dress seemed quite comfy and will last throughout summer due to large sizing. Could easily fit cotton t-shirt under and will be airy without if we get a heatwave! Main disappointment is colour not as bright as expected. Dress is lined and sat nicely over leggings. Hope it washes well.

I got this in the sapphire jumbo daisy and my four and a half year old daughter loves it. I got a size 4-5 and the fit is fine (my daughter is tall but thin). The colours are bright and the length just perfect, a bit above the knee. It could be worn for less casual outings, but it could also easily be worn for a day in the park.

I ordered the 5-6 for my tall, skinny 4 year old in the hope that it would be good for our summer holiday. Someone here said it was slightly 'apron looking' and that's how it looked to me but that propbably wasn't helped by the fact it was on the large size all over. It was 'quite' nice, I liked the colours but couldn't get over the ready to paint feel so it's going back. Probably just me though, I really wanted to like it and am a bit disappointed!
