Age 7-8 fits mu almost 6 year old perfectly so I would advise buying up a size. Otherwise it's a great dress and I may buy another. Particularly good as covers shoulders on my very fair skinned little girl.

I was looking forward to seeing my petite 4 year old in this but it was not what I expected. The neckline was just elasticated style stitching and the waist line too high even though I'd got a bigger size. Basically elastic stitches seemed to have replaced all the hems on thin, poor quality material.

Loved the look of this for my petite two year old but I have three main criticisms. Isn't as retro looking a fabric in real life, fits too big on arms and length, elastic waist rides up so much my little one ends up with elastic at her armpits when playing and looks like she has a bust! Friends have had a good giggle on what a poor purchase this has been. Bit of a letdown as we love boden for most of the kids clothes.

My daughter loves this dress and so do I! It is so pretty and suits her colouring (she is very fair and I bought the French Blue colour). As it is not quite warm enough yet she is wearing it with a white long sleeve t-shirt underneath it but it looks just as good without. I am so pleased with it and cannot fault it! Thank you Boden!
