With waist 25.5", hips 35", you'd think I'd be size 8. But being 5'1" and 7 stone, I know by now that I need size 6 (usually 50% of size 6 trousers & skirts are 1-2" too big at the waist and gape). So well done Bowden for a size 6 that fits well around the waist. Not only comfy but they fit properly so are more flattering. Still needed to shorten by 2.5" so I appreciated how well made they were - they were so well sewn that it took me ages to unpick but the hems were very level.

They are AMAZING! Very slimming and a great length. Just disappointed that the colours sold out so quickly. Would love to see this re-released in another season as they are quite light fitting and would easily take you into a British Spring (..or British summer!).

These are really well-made, good quality trousers that fitted perfectly. Unfortunately, although Boden wide-leg trousers normally suit me, these didn't for some reason. I came to the conclusion that my frame was too slight and my legs insufficiently long to carry off the jumbo cord. Also the vertical side pockets gaped slightly which made me look a little 'hippy'. However, I would recommend these to anybody with slightly longer legs as they were lovely trousers.

I'm inbetween sizes with larger hips but a small waist so the 14L, especiallly given the style, is fairly roomy. I wear a belt and it works and was never tempted to return them.
