These looked lovely when they arrived and fitted everywhere except the thighs which are very tight. Admittedly I have bulky things but can usually bend in trousers whereas I couldn't in these for fear of tearing them!!! Shame as they are gorgeous

Bought these trousers as smart work wear, they are perfect for the office.
Nice light weight fabric with half leg lining. The fit is very good on the leg and bottom but a little bit large in the waist - nothing that can't be fixed with a belt!

Generally good fit(better than I thought they might be) although the shape seems a little odd below the knee, but maybe they are a bit too long for me. Material is thinner than I would have expected for winter woollen trousers, but perfect for a warm office!

I ordered these from the clearance section, but wouldn't have paid full price. The fabric is a good colour and weight, but I agree with some other reviewers - the cut is a little tight through the thighs - looks ok, but snug when sitting. I'm quite slim, but I don't have skinny legs due to sports, so that could explain it. At 5'8" the long length was just about long enough to wear with flat to 1" heels.

Love these trousers. I ordered a size 8 and they fit perfect. Comfortable to wear look good and very smart. They do say they are dry clean only but i chucked them in the machine on wool cycle and dried them flat, not a problem. Even better is i bought them in the sale, but if i see them come up again next year i wouldnt hesitate at buying them full price.

I bought these trousers to update my work wardrobe and because Boden items usually last for quite a while. I deliberated for ages, checked the sizing chart, checked the garment sizing chart and having decided they would fit I ordered 2 pairs, Black and Navy.
I am SO disappointed. The design of the trousers is so poor, I don't know how you make the larger sizes but you're not doing it very well.
In most shops I am a 16 on top and an 18 fits me comfortably on the bottom. Your measurements make me a 20 in trousers, which is what I ordered, and they were loose around the waist and the hips yet on the thigh I couldn't sit down for fear of ripping them.
This has put me off trying any more of your trousers to be honest and that is a shame.

I have bought Boden's boot cut wool trousers in the past & have loved them and worn them to death. I ordered these and, although i thought they were lovely and of excellent quality, the side pockets gaped really badly and extentuated this area (which is large enough already, sadly). I may buy again as they are in the sale but I will have to sew up the pockets.
