I hate buying trousers. The difference between my waist and hip is about 30cm plus I have thunder thighs. Most trousers that wd fit my waist get stuck somewhere above my knees and I usually end up buying something that fits the thighs & bum, but gapes dreadfully at the waist (not to mention the frustration & tears in the meantime). Having carefully read the measurements for these cords, it occured to me they may actually fit me in a size 8 (my usual size for tops, flared/stretchy skirts & dresses). And they do! They actually fit my 96cm hips and don't gape on the waist. True, they are quite fitted in the let's say trouble area, but corduroy stretches with wear & feel & see some give even after half a day. What's more, they're very comfy AND even though I'm borderline between petite & regular sizes (I usually describe myself as petite, asd in 99% of cases have to have trouser hems taken in), the length of these is fine as it is. And, oh, did I mention the cute spotty finish and pink button on the inside? [smiling broadly]

I love these. Got them in fudge full price and navy in the sale. I would have liked the red colour too but I was too slow - better stocks in future please.

I'm 5 ft 4 and had to take a couple of inches off the regular length but I have to do this with nearly every pair of trousers I get so it wasn't a surprise.

Why do I love them? Because they tick all my boxes. Firstly they're comfortable (I like looking good but I won't suffer for it!). Secondly they're really soft and I love strokeable fabrics. Thirdly they're really flattering, the fabric is thick enough to be warm and substantial enough to skim over lumps and bumps but it still drapes well (did I mention they were soft?). Finally the colours are classic and versatile so they'll fit into most wardrobes

Love them - beautifully cut, comfortable, lovely heavyweight cosy jumbo cord, mocha is a beautiful rich brown...
I normally buy jeans from Boden in size 12, but having seen the garment measurements for these, I risked buying a size 10, and they're a perfect fit. No gape at the back waistband, snug but not tight fit - perfect. Wish there were some left in 10L.

I love these cords very much. So much, in fact, that as soon as my first pair arrived (10R, Fudge) and I tried them on, I logged on and ordered another pair (Mocha).
They are slouchy and extremely comfortable; the cord is soft and luxurious, and the colours are great.
BUT. After one wash the button was hanging loose from my first pair, and after two washes it was off. The button on pair number two is now loose after their first wash, and I guess it'll be off within a week or two. This is not really good enough. I could sew them back on, but a) I shouldn't have to for this price, and b) I'm not an expert sewer and can't see how to do it without the stitching showing on the front of the trousers.
Keeping anyway, because I do love them and don't want to be without them. Will just wear with the metal slidey things fastened.
Please don't compromise on quality, Boden. It just takes half the pleasure out of the clothes and leaves me feeling a bit conned. I had a similar issue last year with the beachcomber hoody - buttons REALLY badly sewn on, hanging off with loose threads dangling after a couple of wears. Disappointing.

These trousers in "Fudge" were exactly what I have been looking for, for some time. Sadly the colour was not like the description or picture. They were more what I would have expected the "Mocha" to look like.
The fit was nice though, and if the colour had been right, I would definitely have kept them.

I now have the mocha and navy. Would like grenadine but most of the sizes have now gone, especially mine but please can we have black. They are just an essential part of my wardrobe for winter.

bought the trousers but unfortunately did not look closely at the hem until I had worm them. The hems on the legs are very badly sewn and I cannot wear them because they look so bad.

I love these trousers. I purchased a pair last year and have just purchased another pair in brown. So nice to find pure cotton trousers which are such a good fit and soft and cosy to wear. I have yet to find anything similar elsewhere. How about making them in black.

Really good looking, comfortable cords. My husband commented on how much he liked them (compared to my normal straight leg jeans). I'm a long-legged 5'9" (in a 12 long) and the length is perfect for a change (I often find Boden trousers too short). Thanks! More nice colours please (purple, dark green etc).
