Bought these on a whim really as they were a great price in the sale so thought i'd give them a try. Wasn't really expecting them to suit me as i'm only 5ft so don't have the lovely long slender legs of the model wearing them.
What a surprise though when I tried them on, they looked great.
I'm glad I took other reviewers advice and sized down though. I am usually a size 14 but sized down to a 12 Petit and they are a perfect fit.
My only negative is that they do tend to go rather baggy when you have been wearing them for a while.
Shame they are now out of stock in the other colours as I would have liked another pair in a darker colour.

Got these in the sale in the mocha and the black. The fit is just as pictured on me - fairly fitted all over, but not overly tight from hips, which make them comfy. I have short legs which are neither skinny nor chunky, and widish hips, and the 12R fits me perfectly - & I am a 12 in most high street ranges (except for things aimed at the younger brigade....sigh!).

I was worried that the buttons would add bulk on the hips, but they don't and are a lovely touch.

They are lighter weight, so more suited to autumn spring as another reviewers says.

I would happy have a pair in every colour!

Ordered these in ths sale and am so pleased with the look and fit that I wish I'd tried them earlier. I would have ordered one of each colour but maybe not at the full price ;). They fit me really well are uber-comfortable and a great length.

Hmmed and hahhed about these for a couple of months before buying a navy pair in the sale - so glad I did. Very flattering and great for wearing under tunics offering a bit of a thicker option than good old leggings. Like the details and the option of wearing a belt too. Just ordered another pair in mocha, if black still available in my size then would have ordered this colourway too.

Bring on the horses, these jodhpurs are quality driven and durable enough to wear riding. Well fitting, plenty of elasticity, like the longer length so that you can turn up or tuck into your ankle boots. Very interesting touch with the buttons. Yes, Yes, you did it again Boden !!! I will take this opportunity to wish all at Boden the very best for this holiday season.

I wasn't sure when I ordered these whether I'd like them but really needed some dark brown trs. Ordered these and the wide leg cords. Both are really comfy & a good fit but these prob make my legs look best of any trs I've ever tried! can't wait to wear them.

I found that these are true to size, but the waistband is slightly fuller than other Boden trousers I have; a belt was definitely necessary. I am sending these back because although it was a great design in theory, in practise I found them uncomfortable and bulky. Considering they are presumably supposed to be a smooth, stretchy fit there is not enough stretch, the non-stretch inner-thigh patches make for uncomfortable movement, and the addition of pockets and buttons adds to the bulkiness of the look. I feel a true jodhpur trouser should be much stretchier and more streamlined -- save the pockets and embellishments for the normal trousers. Unfortunately, the overall fit just wasn't flattering enough to overlook all of the above. Possibly if you are taller (I am 5'4") you can carry it off; on me the trousers just looked crowded. Am awaiting Roma trouser to see if this is a better option.

I was in two minds for these as the fit was poor whilst everything else was fab.
The good things are:
The lovely faded/worn colour(colour of chocolate buttons,buttons on the hip emphasie a flattering shape, cord patches inside knee, shaped leg, stretchy and warm material, very comfortable.
The not so good things are:
The fit on the upper thigh and waist is strange as its loose whilst the remainder of the leg fits lovey. Also, the waist is much higher than I have worn for a while.
I struggled to decide whether to keep as they are expensive and they dont look great, and considered exchanging for a smaller size, but they dont feel a whole size loose on the lower leg. I reluctantly decided to keep and hope they shrink a little in the wash.

I am between a size 8 & 10. Ordered 8 on basis of measurements on website. Have to say they are the most perfect fitting trousers I have ever owned. Not always too successful with Boden trousers but these are amazing. Haven't worn them yet, but tried them on with short biker boots, high wedges and long boots, all of which looked great. Can dress them up or down. Hoping that because they are stretchy that they will be more comfy than jeans. Absolutely love them. Husband hasn't seen them yet but sure he will love them too!
