i had been looking for Spring/summer linen/chino trousers for a while. im 5 foot 3 and a size 6/8 and all the High street chinos were massive around the waist and thighs and the fabric quality very cheap. i ordered the size 8 on a whim expecting to return them but love them! they are slightly roomy for me - but have the right amount of slouch, the fabric qulaity is fab and the photo really doesnt do them justice! only reason i can think they are this cheap in the sale - and presumably didnt sell - is that the website photo is really bad and doesnt show them in any detail... as ever in real life detailing incl spotty trim inside waistband is quality. feel very well-made, substantial and will look to survive more than a few washes and days out with young kids in tow. i havent washed them yet so cant comment on that aspect.. look foward to wearing them with a white t and plimsolls when it gets warmer, or sandals and a cami on rare hot days! . if i'd cotonned on sooner would have ordered a pair in every colour...

I got them in the sale expecting to possibly return them as everybody always seems to go on about Boden's meagre trousers sizes which has certainly put me off them in the past. How wrong was I! The 10R fits perfectly (I usually take a 12 in trousers)and the length is ok for my 5f7 height. Ok, they are not slouchy exactly but what the hell. I cut a fine figure in them so no harm done.

I bought these super-cheap in the sale and liked them so much I came back to buy two more pairs - I'm going to try dyeing one navy. They are true to the garment measurements given, but if you wanted a close fit (rather than loose as shown in the photo) you'd need to size down. They are great for a pear shape as the legs/hips are a large cut but you can pull in the waist with the drawstring. I wasn't sure about the low waist but actually it makes me look slimmer. I'll be wearing them in rotation this spring and summer!

Ordered a 14L, which were a great length (I'm 5.10) and will wear them for comfy weekends, shopping etc. Had to take the hips in a couple of inches as they were a bit jodhpur-like, waist was spot-on but quite high. Nice material, very soft.

I bought these in a recent sale. i am delighted with the fabric and fit. when i tried them on they felt comfortable and looked good. As i havn't worn or washed them yet i can't comment. i am looking forward to wearing them next spring/summer.

Loved them in the catalogue right from the start, but didn't loved any of the colours and wanted a natural waist trouser rather than slightly lower waisted. Kept coming back to them & with all the negative reviews felt I had made the right choice to avoid. But come sale time I still liked them so decided to try for myself. They are the perfect fit in my normal size. Have tried bootcut, straight leg and boyfriend jeans which all went back due to being skin tight over my legs but not these. The regular is 2 inch too long but they can be rolled up. However the charcoal colour is more brown than grey and not as the website so I've returned to try a different colour. Fingers crossed I like them.

These trousers are really comfy so I'm just ordering a second pair. They are not really slouchy on me as I'm rather large in the trouser area so I fit into them well. Of course they are a bit long as I have quite short legs for my height but because they are casual, they can be rolled up.
I do find the bow tie a bit weird as it sticks out under t-shirts and jumpers but problem can be solved by tucking it in.

I received these today in the blue which is a lovely colour. I would say they are true to size. I'm size 14 and 5'5. However I would have preferred them a bit longer. I'm keeping them will just wear them with flat shoes. I liked them so much I've also bought the charcoal (long length.)

I bought these, as I liked the chino colour. I found them to be too big for me in a size 10 and they are much longer than expected, given that I have several pairs of Boden trousers and jeans. I could have kept them for vegging in but I would still have to have shortened them. I returned them as they just weren't flattering enough.

I bought the size 16 having a rather large behind and am usually a 16 in Boden trousers but these were quite loose and I am now actually buying them in the size 14R. They are very flattering though and extremely comfortable and I have comments on the positive side.
