Great jeans, definitely more straight than skinny. I sized up 2 sizes as I find Boden small on the waist and they do fit really well. I am pear shaped but the legs are not too tight around the ankle to not unflattering. The colours are great and could easily be dressed up or down.

These jeans fit me well (I bought size 12 and am usually between 10 - 12). They are high waisted which I'm not used to and if they slip down a bit result in a rather unattractive baggy bit beneath the bum! I would agree with another comment that they are probably better described as a straight rather than skinny jeans - my legs certainly are not thin and the jeans are not tight on them.

The jeans arrived yesterday and they look good on. They do accentuate my muffin top but that is because I am overweight - not the fault of the jeans. Perhaps this is because they are a little tight but will give with wear - rather this than baggy. The jeans fit just below my natural waist and I have a short torso. I will wear these with boyfriend cardigans so muffin-top bulge will not be a problem. At least the jeans are skinny on my hips, thighs and legs, not baggy like some high street brands.

I always use the reviews to help buy clothes but have never written one until now.....I have just opened these and so far seem to be everything I wanted!! They are high waisted, fab for the mummy tummy, very slim around the hip and thigh (sometimes things are a bit looser here on me) and then tapper down nicely. They are not ultra skinny, which so many seem to be at the moment, and therefore perfect for my age, summer, with pumps or trainers. Please keep them the same and I will be back.

I bought these jeans as I live in skinny jeans and find them a really practical addition to my wardrobe. I believe that I am pretty good at sourcing jeans which have the right fit and look for me. I was really excited when I ordered these jeans in the black.

The only positive comment that I can make was the colour was great.

I was so disappointed when they did arrive and certainly think that the term is not applicable to these trousers. Although the fit was great, length, bottom and tummy, they were by no means skinnny. I think that a more accurate description for these jeans would be straight. I have never bought Boden Jeans before and this has put me off forever.

They are going straight back.

If you are looking for a closely fitted skinny jean my advice is look elsewhere.

I wanted some black skinny jeans but had to buy these in the "berry" colour. Have not bought boden skinny fit before but they are a great fit and the colour is lovely - not as bright as it seems in the picture and a great colour for Christmas. Lovely density of colour and can be dressed up or down. Very good length too - I am 5'4'' and they are perfect.

Having had great success with an earlier purchase of the skinny cords, I went a bit crazy and ordered the skinny jeans as well on the recommendations. They are very soft and comfortable, very skinny and tightly fitting. I had feared they'd make my hips and thighs look big (what woman doesn't??), but not so. I love this pair of skinny jeans and would recommend them without hesitation to anyone considering buying them. I was a wee bit worried I'd feel a bit old in them, since I have just turned 45, but not so, again! Great pair of jeans, Boden! :-)

High enough waist not to be a problem when sitting/ bending over! The Long is long enough for me (5ft10) and I'm really pleased with them.

I bought these in winter berry colour in my usual size and had no hopes it would fit as I have always had problems with Boden trousers but was I wrong!! These are a perfect fit for me. I have struggled to find any jeans that fit these well. Shame they are not available in Petite length as that would have made them even better as I am only 5'1 but I will have them shortened. [...]Just goes to show that though you can always depend on the reviews on here sometimes you just have to try for yourself as you never know what would work for you.
