I ordered these in the sale following comments from others who suggested they were great for those of us not so tall and I wasn't disappointed. They fit perfectly in the leg, ordered the long version, and although a little snug around the waist not uncomfortably so and I know will improve with wear. It's always great to find a pair of jeans which don't need to be turned up!

I do it every year. I order a pair of Boden trousers HOPING beyond hope that they will fit.... I've tried the crops, the straight leg, the Boot cut, you name it. BUT every time I end up disappointed! I have come to the conclusion that all Johnnie's female friends and family must have legs like a sparrow and well, HIPS!
Usually being an average size 12 in all trousers and jeans (and not finding any problems) I ordered a 14 in these crops because previously Boden trousers don't pass higher than my knees in a size 12. I'm 5'10" and my legs are solid but not what I would call fat..... The 14 in these crops fit fine on the leg and I got them up to where they should be, but sadly the hips stuck out like exaggerated jodphurs and the waist just too big .....
I'm DEFINITELY NOT succumbing again..... boo hoo.

These trousers are great. Not too low-waisted and the legs aren't too tight. Decent amount of stretchiness.

Will be wearing them on holiday with the bottoms rolled up. Colour is a little unusual - with a yellow stripy tee shirt I bought last year from Boden they make me feel I'm already on holiday.

Fairly ordinary, anonymous pair of jeans. Comfortable enough, fairly true to size fit (with inevitable gaping at the back waist, but nothing that a belt can't fix). Back pockets too small and highly positioned in size 12 to be flattering; these jeans don't make me feel like a gorgon, but they don't make me feel like a hundred dollars, let alone a million, either. Functional, everyday wear for when comfort is more important than feeling or looking special.

I read the reviews and was after both the pale blue and white and ended up only able to get (at the time) a 6 in the blue and an 8 in the white.

Both fit me well - just differently... the 6 is snug and trim, the 8 slightly looser and more casual... They aren't low or high rise, somewhere in between. As for length, I buy a regular length normally and the 6R sits well above my ankle bone, the 8R just above.

I love them and will look at adding to the collection as they are great staples for me in a tropical winter!

I diligently read the reviews before buying these (brought the pale blue) and did hesitate a bit. However, I'm so glad I took the plunge. The fit is great. I'm a size 22 and these jeans take 2 sizes off me. The beauty is that they skim my thigh and calf so I don't get the stuffed sausage appearance that I often get. I would not say they are cropped -- they are ankle length and absolutely perfect. I will be buying more -- Boden I seriously hope the fit is consistent -- if you read my reviews you will see my Boden experience this season has been far from great! However, I'm ever optimistic

I have these in Dusty Blue & Radish. Although tall (5'9.5") I have bought them in regular & roll them up a couple of turns. They fit perfectly when first on but yes they do go a little baggy round the crotch but I would rather have comfort than a muffin top! They wash fine & are really useful Summer crops

Really dissapointed with these. I wanted to replace my two year old ones that I have sadly ahem "outgrown" ... I really wish you hadn't changed the style - they were absolutely perfect! These were not such a flattering fit and just too long to be crops and I didn't want to turn them up. Also after reading the previous reviews regarding a generous fit I didn't size up .. big mistake unless I had an incorrectly sized pair .. When we rely on your perfect wardrobe staples I wish you would present the same designs and just vary the colours ....please!

Loved the pale blue colour and always look out for cropped styles as I'm only 5'2" BUT I was so disappointed when these arrived! Despite the size 6 being a good fit, I found these made my (petite) derriere look the largest I have ever seen it and were downright frumpy all over! The rear pockets seem all wrong in their positioning and the higher waist reminded me of the look ( which wasn't good even then) that I sported back circa '86. Also would have needed to be worn rolled up all the time to have got anything like a summery cropped look. I can't see these being a good buy for anyone with a half-decent figure. Hope the new petite lengths in the Autumn range will come with a better cut!

I ordered two pairs, one regular and one long both size 14.I'm only 5ft 3.5 but, got the idea of wearing the longer pair as normal jeans from a previous review. Thankyou! The regular pair fitted quite snugly and felt more like a size 12 (although I checked and they weren't!). However,for some strange reason, the longer pair fitted much better so I've decided to keep them and wear as normal length jeans. I ordered the pink which is a fab colour and bang on trend.
