Had read all reviews and really wasn't sure whether or not to buy. Eventually went for usual size (8). As indicated in reviews these are a closer fit than you'd expect for boyfriend jeans - but are fabulous straight leg jeans. Received this morning and dashed back to buy another pair.. but too late! Would love to see again.

I ordered two pairs of jeans at the same time. Having ordered from Boden for years I never really think of sizing. I was so disappointed when I couldnt even get these over my thighs!! In a moment of madness I checked that my other Boden size 12s fitted, and thankfully they were the same lovely comfyness as always. Come on Boden sort you life out!

These jeans are definitely not a boyfriend cut; they are more like a straight leg with turn ups. Having said that the denim is of good quality and weight and I like the fact it is not stretchy. But if you carry a bit of weight on the bottom then do as the other reviewers have suggested and size up. I normally take a 12L but ordered the 14L - they are a little big but I know the 12L would have been snug on my bum and thigh. These are a nice basic jean, nothing special but everyone needs a denim staple and for [$]I would recommend these (and have done) to friends.

Bought these in the sale and sized up as per reviews (I always read reviews and they are always accurate). So so comfortable to wear and much better than slim jeans (which I sometimes find uncomfortable around my calf muscles). Great bargain and I am tempted to buy another colour!!

I'm 5'10 and a fairly straightish size 14 these were a good fit and not too baggy or too tight and the right length for flats I got the mid denim in the sale and have just ordered the dark vintage as a pair had just appeared in the sale. v good value at sale price, They are like old fashioned jeans though with no lycra so I imagine if they were too tight there would be no give in them at all They look good without the turn-ups too

I originally ordered these jeans in my usual size 14 tall when they were at full price, but had to send them back because they created depressing muffin top issues. However, having seen them at the sale price, I decided to give them another chance in a size up and they're great. I think if you've got a 'boyfriend' figure, then you can get away with ordering your normal size, even one down, but if you're pear-shaped or curvy like me, then you might struggle with that waist band and straight cut leg.
