I am slim although curved and take either a comfortable 8 or a slim 10. I ordered these in 10 as they seemed to be a slim cut, and found that although the hips and thighs are tight, the waist is enormous. They seem to be cut for someone whose figure is straight up and down - perhaps a boy, although they are not boyfriend style because they are too tight around the hips. As the waist is low, these jeans literally fall off me as I walk. The fabric is lovely and I had really looked forward to wearing them. I have ordered many jeans from you over the years and in the past was always happy. Something seems to have gone wrong. I would suggest you rethink what kind of figure you believe women actually have.

I have been searching for a pair of straight leg jeans for ages. I have a size 8 waist but a size 10 bum with large thighs so this year I have been reduced to tears in most changing rooms! When i read the reviews for theses jeans as being too bulky for me I knew that these would be the jeans for me and they were. Huge in the waist but I can cope with that !

Having read the reviews I ordered these expecting to have to send them back - but hey! they fit really well (perhaps I'm just an odd shape). I really don't like low rise trousers and it was the fact that these have a slightly higher rise that tipped tha balance and tempted me to order them. I've been looking for some white jeans all season and I've tried on many a pair where the white was see through or they've been oddly cut. These are great - not too low rise, a good weight fabric and a stylish straight leg cut that look good on me. So well done Boden - the only reason they've not got 5 stars is the price. Poor fit with baggy areas around the hips. The fabric is so stretchy that it gets even baggier with wear. Washing at high temperatures and then tumble drying helps a bit. Wish I'd sent them back, but these problems didn't show up straight away.

I love these jeans - the only pair of Bodens trousers to fit! Not too low on the waist, no muffin top,comfortable & for once Johnny,they are long enough in the leg, i am 5'9 1/2 " & I've told you before, we need longer length trousers!

Several reviews mentioned the odd fit of these jeans - tight at the knees and baggy at the crotch. I agree completely - my daughter and I both tried them on and they made us laugh a lot, but we would need to pad the crotch with a sock, so they're going back!

Bought these in white and find them so versatile - from walking on the beach to a casual evening out. I love the beige over-stitching, it add a bit of interest. Other reviews comment on them being too long, I'm only 5'4'' and the 10 Regular is perfect (I wonder if others have just been unlucky). I don't have much of a waist and struggle to find jeans that fit my waist witout being baggy around the hips - these are perfect. I'm going to buy another pair in case they're not repeated!

These fit like a dream. I was aware of the negative comments, but love them. It is really difficult to buy straight leg stretch jeans which are not too long or too wide. If you want to wear flat shoes/sandals/boots, although these are long they do not scrape on the ground, therefore giving a longer leg look. I am a standard size 16 and just on 5'7".Have just bought another colour.
