I was so so disappointed with these, they were a beautiful colour and quality and probably a very good cut, just they were a size bigger than on the label. Now I am a size 8, 5'7 and 8 & 1/2 stone, that does not make me a size 6, which is what I would need to wear these, or even a 4. They were way to big and baggy and thats without wear when they would stretch. Such a shame as I'm off to France this weekend and I wanted to look a little chic and continental. Back to plan B !!!!

I am only 5ft 2" in height so the Boden crop trousers work perfectly for me as full length trousers! I love the side zip fastening and satin finish on these trousers. I purchased these in black and they look great with the Ravello Blouse, perfect for a night out. The trousers do have stretch so are very flattering and comfortable to wear.

The velvet trousers arrived this morning and I can't wait to wear them over the festive period. They are absolutely marvellous and are great fit, with that little bit of give. I am 5'2" and had to buy 12R, which are great as ankle skimming. Buy these whilst they are available! Will go beautifully with the embellished cashmere cardigans that I have bought. Thank you Boden.

Wow....at long last, the perfect pair of trousers. I purchased these trousers in preference to the Straight Leg Velvet trousers because these ones have a higher rise and sit on the waist. However, I ordered the Long length because I didn't want them to 'skim my ankles' and they are absolutely perfect. They are comfy, fit perfectly and I feel a million dollars in them. Oh, and my husband loves me in them because they actually fit perfectly across my behind :)
Can't comment on how they wash and wear over time because only got them today but as the material is such good quality I am sure they will be fine. Thank you Mr. Boden :)

These elegant velvet trousers team up beautifully with the Boden jackets and classic silk blouses this season. The fit is perfect, not too tight in any direction. The length is perfect just skimming the ankle. The quality of velvet superb and the satin trimmings spot on. The trousers are a great match for the fig tunic I bought earlier in the season...........but are a strange shape. The front are very low rise but the back is at least 3 inches higher. I agree with other reviewers they are more skinny than straight leg. Disappointed.
