Bought the purple in the sale. Beautiful colour and very pretty. Only downside is hand wash only. Worth it though for a top that is definitely different! Had lots of positive comments about it.

Having read the other reviews that sizing was on the large side, I ordered the yellow in a 6, being usually a 6-8 in Boden tops. It fits perfectly for my 5'9" frame and sits well. Looks great with the wool bootleg trousers of grey, black and navy, which I tried them on with. Great for work and meetings. Note;some of the sequins/beads can appear a little on the 'cheaper' side upon close inspection, but I dont mind.

I have not washed the 2 tops I have bought (in pewter and purple) so I cannot comment on that aspect but I had to write a review to recommend these tops. The fabric is beautiful and the cut is very flattering. They are elegant but could be worn with jeans. A real hit.

This is a lovely top. I have been looking for a top to wear with a black beaded skirt for years. (literally!)I chose the grey, but I think the pink would have been equally good. The fabric is light, soft and comfortable and doesn't show my underwear. I chose a 12 which fits beautifully. Worth sizing down as I am normally a 14 up top.It is long enough to tuck in or leave out. The embellishment is much nicer than I thought it would be, not quite as "loud" as it looks in the picture. The collar sits nicely. I feel it is fine for the sale price but personally wouldn't have paid full price as it is a bit of a special occasion top and I don't go to that many smart things these days. I thought it would be great for a formal night on my forthcoming cruise. The pin tucks add to the appearance. Worth a try as it makes a welcome break from black tops. Recommend it if you are looking for something a bit different. It even looks nice with a pair of jeans.

I bought two tops of this style and they are very nice ! size 18 fits very well for me as I am curvy lady(I am size 16-18),colors pink and purple are beautiful! and this time it is cut under arms very well too, not too deep, like on some tops from previous season tops. So i total I am very happy about purchase!
I like Boden ! Would be even better if prices would be more affordable ...

I haven't written any reviews before,but with the embellished top ( i have it in the purple) i just had to say it's totally gorgeous! yes, I agree with previous reviews that the top just didn't sit properly, and there was a gape under the arms, but i am so glad that i persisted and down sized, i am normally an 8 and down sized to a 6,the fit is fantastic and the colour is lovely. This is, so far my favorite top of the winter season (other than the gorgeous red isabella top)! thanks johnny, really pleased, christmas sorted!! :)

I returned this top as I felt it was way tooo big for a size 10. Also I noticed quie a few of the embellishments on the collar were already coming loose and a few were at the bottom of the packaging it came in. Also found the Peter Pan collar a bit strange, and just overall a bit too blingy for me! I know its always useful to have a few plain coloured tops like this in your wardrobe for those "what will I wear"? moments but sadly this is not one of them!

A real shame. Beautiful design, quality and fabric but the arm holes are enormous, showing a huge amount of underwear underneath the arm, so sadly I will have to return it.
