I had pondered this top for ages before taking the plunge - returns from NZ are expensive, and purchases can't be done on a whim. However, I was so disappointed. The material seems flimsy, and the whole effect was fussy.Too many frilly bits, combined with a strong (though pretty) colour and busy pattern. Mr Glot's face said it all, though he also did add - "garish". Perhaps a slim young thing would look stunning in it, and so I can't not recommend it. Not for me though. It went back, in an expensive little package.......

I already have this in the blue and the rose colour and love it so much I have just ordered the green. It is a great top, looks smart but pretty and feminine. Looks good with jeans or with plain skirt or smart trousers - very versatile. Also great for hiding my "lumbs and bumps". This truly is a Boden classic and I hope you produce something similar for next autumn/winter - maybe in a nice red.

I was doubtful about ordering this, as I havent had much luck with tops made of woven fabrics from Boden. When it arrived, I was delighted with the softness and thickness of the fabric and the fact that the colours were a true reflection of the picture. It's a good length, hangs beautifully and is a pleasure to wear.

I bought the aqua. Love the combination of aqua and navy which is great for my colouring and easy to mix and tone with jackets and cardis. Great with jeans and sits in that bracket of clothing I love, casual but stylish. The collar is lovely and lends it an almost vintage air. I am a young looking 50 and I don't feel a bit frumpy in it and I think the style would easily suit a younger girl too - after all the model in the catalogue wasn't exactly mumsy looking! I really like soft, drapey fabrics and this feels lovely too.

I'm really very pleased with this top. I love the double collar, pattern and colour. The material is of a good weight and it feels lovely on. If it had long sleeves I may have been tempted to buy more in other colours but didn't think I would get too much wear out of more short sleeve versions going further into autumn. I feel very girly wearing it even thrown over jeans. Well done Boden :)
