I had to add a review having read all the negative comments about this top! I've bought two of these tops and I'm delighted with them. They look very expensive considering the price - I bought the pale blue and charcoal and liked the pale blue so much I wore it on Christmas day with the cashmere cardigan of the same colour. I don't think the neckline is too low - it's sexy without actually revealing cleavage because of the shape of the notch neck. Please Boden don't start making really high neck clothes in response to reviews like these!

This looks lovely in the catalogue, but alas, it is made from that thin stretchy clingy fabric that plagues so many of Boden's tops these days. I ordered the purple, hoping for a nice snazzy top to wear on Christmas day. The neckline was a bit odd, I agree, but looks fine with a cami worn underneath. However the sequins were not very sparkly at all and the fabric made for an awful looking clingy fit that accentuated all my lumpy bits! This would have been lovely in a thicker cotton to skim the figure but unfortunately I think it doesn't work for larger sizes!

I agree with all the other reviews - this top is not all that it seems on the photo.
I was hoping for a party season top with wasn't too sparkly and thought this would fit the bill.
I am a standard size 8/10 and this is a lot more loose fitting than the photo shows plus the notch front does show quite a lot of cleavage.
It's going back.

This top was so beautiful when I unwrapped it but on trying it the neckline was very low and the sequinned trim seemed to sit oddly making my bust look like a sparkly-trimmed shelf!! Not a good look. So very reluctantly I have returned it.

Nice colour BUT the fit and fabric are really, really not good. Fabric not as clingy as expected based on other reviews but just from trying it on became creased. The v of the neck came right down below my cleavage, no idea how they got the one on the model to cover everything! The fit was more like a tunic, very loose and flared around my hips. Went straight back which is a shame as i like the concept.

I ordered this top in the green as a Christmas staple. The fit is very strange as the top seems extra long (I am 5ft 10). The neck line is also very low. The material feels cheap and nasty and the trim is horrible. I would expect much better [$] This top is going straight back.
