This is a simply beautiful shirt which will make any occasion special. Silk georgette and a silk satin camisole. Pewter is a very understated colour which goes with everything. My usual size 10 fits perfectly. Beautiful detailing down the front. Would look equally stunning with smart jeans or a pair of trousers, and a bit of bling ! This shirt will not date.

This shirt is incredibly thin - think 15 denier tights material and you are pretty much there. It is a lovely colour- I chose the grey, but so thin that it snagged badly on the sleeve on its first wear. Considering the price that isn't great, as it should be resilient enough to stand up to reasonable hazards such as moving your arms slightly. Having said that, it is very pretty, although the comments of one Bodenite who found the pleated front rather different from the picture are spot on. Bit of a questionable buy I'm afraid, but hasn't happened much before so I still love Boden!

This top was so expensive at full price that I rather sidelined it. However, with a generous discount it suddenly looked like a contender for my latest order. I wanted smart shirts for work, and ordered both colours. They are cetainly beautiful and very smart shirts in both colours, and the pleating detail is really pretty. I think that the fabric is gorgeous, but so see through that one could reveal more than one might possibly wish, although the camisole does help somewhat. These shirts are really lovely, and make you feel very special. They hang well, and look quite slimming when on due to the longer length and the design. Grab them now while they are still cheap (ish).

This is a smart blouse, more suitable for evening than day wear due to its see throughness. I thought the pictures looked pretty but was disappointed by the quality when my navy size 12 arrived. It looked cheaper than I was expecting and just not worth the price tag. When I looked carefully the finish on the shirt I was sent is definitely different from that in the photo of the model: the decoration on the front is not double as shown in the photos but edged with cheap looking a embroidery as in the picture of the shirt alone (look very closely). I think it is highly misleading of Boden to picture a shirt with a different level of finish from that actually provided; I look carefully at the photos and expect to receive what I see. Moreover, the shirt did not flatter me - it is rather straight cut and shapeless. I fit most Boden size 12s well (I'm a tall 32 D bust), but to get the look in the pictures I would recommend sizing down. A final gripe is that the cuffs are far too large for elegance.

I originally ordered this in grey, but while I was waiting for it I bought another grey silk blouse. I returned it and ordered the navy. I am so glad as it looks much richer and prettier. I will mostly wear it for smart casual with very dark jeans and silver jewellery which looks very trendy. It will also look lovely with dressy trousers. It is rather expensive but then it is silk and has lots of detail. I did get 20% off which helped. It is true to size.
