Lovely top. Have it in the fig colour and liked
it so much have the mallard colour on its way. Very
pretty and also flattering - skims over lumps and bumps. Really all-rounder top - can be dressed up for special occasion but not too fussy for everyday
use. PERFECT.

I love this top so much I now have two. Its so pretty and flattering round the neck line. Really pleased I got them in the sale. The black one I might wear to work and the pint I think I'll keep for summer and wear with white jeans. Nice and different. Highly recommend.

The neckline is pretty but the attempt at an empire-line cut is unfortunately shapeless and frumpy. It does not hang well and is quite unflattering. I am 5'6" tall and a size 8, this top is only just long enough (though I'm sure bigger sizes will be longer). Given the sale price I will probably keep it for casual wear, but it is not smart enough to wear in an office or for an evening out.

This top in size 12 fits me perfectly as a pear shaped 12 top / 14 bottom person. It is a particularly flattering design for my body type and the petals are really interesting. They sit quite flat as others have said but it's a good look, attracting your eyes upwards and away from the belly and hips. I'm glad I got the green before it ran out of stock, it's more vibrant than the pictures, a lovely colour. More tops in this empire line style in the future please Boden!

Just beautiful in Mallard. Perfect to dress up or down and my usual size 10 is just right on me.
I have carefully handwashed it today and after drying in a gentle breeze it will hardly need any ironing and the petals which were rather flat have now fluffed up in a very petally way that looks good.

[...]This was a great design on a well fitting, versatile top that has been ruined by the bizarre decision to sew down the petals. On the lighter colours the stitching is really obvious and makes it look cheap.I unpicked the stitching very carefully on the fig and black and even then it took a while for the ruffles to stand back up. Debating whether to do it on the pink and pewter. Concerend it might show because of the lighter colours, so I may just send them back. Next time leave well alone and don't fib. It's wrong.

I bought this top to wear on Christmas day. The picture shows a really full ruffle around the , neck line which makes it look really dressy for a special occasion.
The top that I received was lighter in colour than the picture and the neck line ruffle was just a lot of flat circles sewn onto the top. There is absolutely no chance of these ruffling up to what is shown in the picture! However, I did buy the top on 33% off catch of the day and it is a lovely fit so I am keeping it. But it does not feel special enough for anything other than work or smart casual occasions.

Ordered this shirt first in pink in size 16. Thought it was ok but not great. Sized down and ordered black one too. Black one seems half a size smaller than pink one. So undecided whether to keep it. Pink one is great. Love the design. I wonder why nobody noticed that the ones being sent to us have the petals stitched down whereas it looks as if the ones in the pictures only have them stitched on one side. I have to say I would have liked the curly ones from pictures just as much. I will probably not hand wash and just use washing bag to keep the petals safe and use a handwash program.
