I bought this swimsuit, because it looked stylish and I needed something to take away on holiday suitable for both pool and beach in hotter and cooler climates. In the past, I have always bought bikinis, but I hate displaying my spare tyre and not being able to swim properly because either the bottoms ride down or the top rides up or feeling underdressed because it's a cooler climate and everyone else is wearing a swimsuit. This has suited perfectly - it holds all the wobbly bits in properly, I can swim some proper lengths without worrying about what is falling out or off and it looks good on the poolside too.
When I purchased this, I did read the reviews first and took heed of buying one size down and the problems with the see through backside in the paler colours - I am a size 12, but purchased a size 10 and bought the darker blue one. So a big thank you to those of you who posted before me...
The only downside is that due to spending only a few days at the most in each location (Interrailing)I need to dry it out fairly quickly and it seems to take longer than my daughter's swimwear to dry out (especially the bust and the crotch) so I've had to pack it damp a few times.
If I were to change something, I'd cut the back lower. I feel that it would be more flattering and cooler in high temperatures.
In summary, this is a near perfect swimsuit for holiday use or casual use in a local pool.

I would recommend this for poolside posing (not something I do) rather than splashing about with the kids.
I wanted something flattering as now, after kids, I am a size 16. So I went for this style thinking the pleats and folds would do the trick.
But when jumping and bobbing up and down in the pool (singing Bobbing Along from Bedknobs & Broomsticks?) with my little girl the gathers filled with water and swayed about like seaweed in the tide.
Nothing bad happened, no indecent exposure due to underlayer and the water was up to my shoulders, but it felt very odd.
Will have to put up with this now but next time will try something more streamlined.

This swimsuit is absolutely gorgeous. I ordered it late so had to go for a size smaller than my usual 14, and it fits beautifully. ( Probably helps that I have lost some weight since last summer) It looks very elegant and sexy at the same time. I'm small breasted so don't like heavy cups and straps, and this suit certainly doesn't have that "matronly" look.
I haven't swum in it yet so can't comment on the "see through" problem mentioned in other reviews.

I bought this in the lagoon colour and can't see the two-tone colour of the front and back that other reviews mention! It looks fantastic on and unlike other costumes I've tried so far this year, it supports my chest properly without any risk of flashing anyone! Absolutely love the colour and can't wait to get a nice tan to match :)

Bought this in the Iris rather than opting for chic but safe black and I'm glad I did. It really lifted my complexion. Gave a great shape - hid the wobbly bits and as well as being stylish, it was comfortable enough to swim in. My first cossie for a long long time and I couldn't be happier. Could have sat around the pool all day in it.

This costume is so flattering and gives me so much confidence. I have the coral one and did notice the two tone colour but have chosen to ignore that as it fits so well. I had not noticed it goes see through so will check that out next time I go swimming!!!!
